What's the current hacking status like in DayZ:SA?

also BE is not that great as anti-cheat. if it doesn't recognise the hack, it assumes it's normal!

I'm aware of that but these hackers are clearly launching up into the air and flying around.  Just curious if others have noticed a large increase in hacking and if server admins have any way to detect, verify, and gather information on the hacker.

I'm aware of that but these hackers are clearly launching up into the air and flying around.  Just curious if others have noticed a large increase in hacking and if server admins have any way to detect, verify, and gather information on the hacker.

BE has not updated in the 6 weeks since the last patch, that means hackers have had 6 weeks to beat the system.

they'll see what BE catches next patch and adjust accordingly.

Floating and flying around the server

Full auto weapons

The usual teleporting

 

I've seen maybe 1-2 confirmed hackers since the launch of the game but this past day it has been ridiculous, has anyone else noticed this as well?

 

Does the game allow server admins to check logs at all or has it not been introduced yet?

Can you get some in game photos or video of this? Or let us know which servers you were on?

There are no server logs at this point in time where server admins can try and find out who is hacking.

Protip: Play versions only close after their release (stable and experimental) - new build = new code = old hacks don't work.

 

If you're not down with that then you are screwed until there are private servers with good admins / community that will ensure hackers are banned on a regular basis from your server of choice.

I was just watching a streamer on twitch and he has a friend flying around and bringing him guns his name was thechosen1plays. The hacker brought him a gun with infinite ammo,he banned a follower who called him a cheat so i unfolowed and left, i hope him and his friend both get banned as i hate cheaters.He was typing messages to the hacker and the hacker was telling him where players were .

Do a Youtube search for "New Dayz standalone hack"... filter to this week or month. Now sift through the stupid fake, invalid ones. And proceed to get sick.

 

Another wave of hackers is apparently on the rise. I know this from the last time we had this happen.. the reason I held off on getting SA for a bit. When hacks become public and free.. the shit hits the fan. But, now here is the solace. Eventually a massive ban wave, global.. will gloriously fuck them. And we shall all point and laugh at their pathetic whining posts.. I cannot wait to read the first one :)

Yeah man I know, its kind of silly since most of it is obvious when they run a "non steam game" of DayZ.. steam could simply trawl for that and ban 100's.. i mean if i figured that much out, paid professionals should be able to do it... Currently im just editing recordings i made during the past weeks (yay for the backlog), and sticking to a server witch has an awesome admin i have in my friends list.

 

TY for giving me some hope that it will be solved.. and i cannot wait to reply to those topics.. a simple "hahaha" should suffice... till then i may decide to run naked thru the woods on that other game witch i shall not name.

searching keywords will show you just how far the hacks have come and how every patch/update the same holes are re-opened

 

new code to be implemented better fix the long standing holes in the game that are constantly exploited, or this will never get better

Bohemia doesn't have the money to hire or pay people like Admins. Don't be funny guy. They are donating all the millions of profit to Bill And Melinda Gates foundations to help fight malaria in Africa.

This was hack, not a desync.. 

 

btw got more than 100 hours on this game and died twice as a result of hacking - not playing as often as i used to as a result of this experience. So yes, they do exist.
