Dude just shut up already. The level of your ignorance is quite annoying. This was hack, not a desync.. btw got more than 100 hours on this game and died twice as a result of hacking - not playing as often as i used to as a result of this experience. So yes, they do exist.

I've seen my first cheater in the game after 148 hours of play. I've never been robbed by thieves in real life, that doesn't mean that it does not happen, does it? If you are geared and stick around electro, berezino, or military fields etc.. with this trend, you will sooner or later come across with a cheater.. cuz it's becoming more and more common...

Hackers don't exist cuz you were lucky enough not to come across with one of them? For me, it made me stop playing this game instantly.

Same here. i can't stand the thought of a hacker spotting me from miles away and killing me without me noticing him/her - which happened to me a few times already. i will stop playing this game till the issue becomes ''less'' frequent.

Then i'm sorry.. I watched it for 4-5 mins, didn't see any action and thought the big part of the video was about you walking around the towns. I will watch it again. and edit my previous post.

I hate bambis who try to punch every single heavily geared player for easy loot as much as I hate KOS players btw. A few times I went to coast to help fresh spawns with food and stuff and almost every single one of them tried to punch me.

Happened to me twice yesterday night..

I've been playing online games for more than 10 years now. Played battlefield, gta series, counter strike, starcraft a lot and still do. Yes, you can encounter cheaters in those games as well but the worst thing it can happen in those games is you lose a single match. The type of game Dayz is, makes it a much more serious issue. This is a survivor game where you try to make your character last as long as possible. and dying to a hacker after spending so much time with your character makes a much bigger impact on the game play. That's why I hope it doesn't get out of hand, cuz if it does then majority of the players will be done with this game. I was in a full 40/40 gameservers.com server when I got killed last night by a hacker/cheater. Also didn't understand the point behind your post. Hackers surely like full servers even more.

A teleporting hacker killed me twice yesterday night. I made a post about it in another thread. What i don't understand is some other players here treating the situation lightly or as if the victim is bullshitting. Guys this is a serious situation which directly threatens the game. Last night was the first time i encountered a hacker but still it made me question the point in playing this game if i'll die to a hacker after spending a good time improving my character. This is serious.

I died to a similar hacker twice tonight and survived the third attack. I was playing at one of the GB gameservers.com server. I'd positioned myself in one of the cranes at Berezino docks (i'm not a bandit btw, i just love to watch the action from above and kill bandits if i see them engage bambis), after 20 mins in the game, suddenly i heard an agro zombie noice, i secured myself in the cabin as i thought someone is probably near, then 'bam', a bullet hit me.. i quickly proned which should have secured me in the cabin from a gun shot coming from any angle but no, i was dead after the second gun shot.. i waited and listened.. the hacker was in the cabin of the crane after 5 seconds, looting my body.. which is not normal.. I respawned and went to the Berezino docks again to have a better understanding of the situation.. i didn't directly went to the cranes, i walked around and went inside the hangars near the dock which are located accross the cranes.. they were not looted before and had their doors closed.. i looted the first one, went to the second one and a few seconds later 'bam' again.. he missed the first shot but i was unconscious after the second shot.. there was absolutely no one in the hangar.. i'm 100% sure.. third encounter with the hacker, i was not alone.. i was at the hills of Berezino, and saw a guy with nothing on, he was a fresh spawn.. i asked him to help and join me to pursue the hacker, or at least help me determine that it's not a desync issue.. he was an asshole and tried to punch me.. i started running away from him and suddenly there was gun shots coming from no where.. we were running and circling around a tree and it sounded like he was on top of that tree.. we couldnt see the shooter.. and the guy who was chasing me was also confused and said ''who is shooting?!'' on the mic a couple of times.. he didn't manage to kill us this time though.. This is a serious issue and immediately damaged my passion for this game.. I hope it gets fixed soon cuz I'm not spending my time just to die to a god damn no life hacker...
