-Make it easier to take steelbolts of dead enemies

-Fix so that your backpack doesn't disappear into the ground when you take an other one

It may be possible to add the Steel Bolt(s) to the loot table if it impacts the zed. I'm not sure how difficult that would be to implement on ArmA's engine.

Would it be possible to add something that tells you how much space there is left in tents/vehicles? Our tent just seems to eat stuff at times (destroyed completely, cant be found on nearby ground). Please PM me if you have any idea how much you can storage in different vehicles/tents, ty.

Also a fix so that when I put a currently equipped primary (the L85A2 AWS) into my backpack so that I can take out the M24, the L85 doesn't disappear into the ether would be greatly appreciated! I'm still rather miffed about that :( Perhaps a quick check to confirm that it has been successfully added to the backpack before removing it from the primary slot? I did have enough space in my backpack, yes.

I'm sure it's been said many times before, but I'll say it again in case it makes any difference whatsoever: a right click option in the gear menu to "swap primaries" would be greatly appreciated by all I'm sure. Maybe two options: swap with mags and swap without mags.

Just logged into a server that was in the process of getting nuked I think (US 46.) Saw a wall of flame heading my way through the trees. Disconnected before it reached me (does this make me an exploiter too? :) ) Took a screenshot of the lobby with the wall of flame still in the background.

All you need to do is go to your backpack and push your second weapon which is stored in your pack over to your primary slot. the game automatically swaps the gun & mags from your primary slot to backpack and vice versa. If you try and store your weapon in the backpack first it causes issues.

A couple of wire suggestions from a infantryman... I hadn't run into too much trouble with it until tonight and I know the ridiculous amount of wire is supposed to be fixed soon but tonight I ran into a bunch of it and got to thinking. Each wire emplacement looks to be a section of single strand concertina wire. From the interview I read it sounds like you have some military experience rocket so you know as well as I do that it isn't very hard to stomp down a single strand with you boot and get over it so please make the wire over step-able. If there is a way to make multi-strand wire emplacements then by all means it should be basically impossible for someone without tools to cross but single strand is not a huge deal. Obviously, players and infected should be unable to walk or run through it, but stepping over really needs to be an option for single strand. Also, have you ever had to carry a strand of concertina wire? Its not something you just stick in a pack! If you are carrying wire That is WHAT You Are Doing. It should make you unable to operate either weapon without putting the wire down first. If you are putting up wire its in an area that's at least temporarily secure. Laying wire is a work detail in and of itself, not a handy item you can just pick up and take with you. The Bear Traps will fit the role it seems you were trying to make wire fit into much better. And to the folks who complain(probably the buttholes clogging up buildings with in the first place) "But I want to build a barrier!(or some retarded internet speak version of that)", well, tough, wire isn't a door and padlock, its for building obstacles, an obstacle slows the enemy down but doesn't necessarily deny access and for that matter an obstacle is not an obstacle unless its covered by fire. And for the people who complain about my run on sentence, well shut up, I'm drinkin.

Rocket, are these going to be visable/removable? because if not, we are just going to see them put in ever entryway to building's that spawn decent loot, and that will be very frustrating if we can remove them.

I think it's safe to say they will definitely be visible.

I would like to know if they will be removable though, hopefully Rocket gives us more information.

All I would love to see in this update is, to add atleast 1 minute disconnect timer,so that douche bags cant D/C on you,log onto different server, move to better position, reconnect and kill you (yeah happened yesterday to me and my buddy, pisses the hell outta us).

Ever heard of changing positions?

It takes more than one minute to move to another server, relocate, and then switch back. By that time, you could have moved somewhere else and camped your old position. I've actually killed a few people this way.

It takes more than one minute to move to another server, relocate, and then switch back. By that time, you could have moved somewhere else and camped your old position. I've actually killed a few people this way.

The problem with this is that the game is incredibly immersive. So when you're playing while that disconnected from reality, you don't make plans or react most effectively in situations that have such a huge disconnect from that immersive environment. It's just not the way our brains work when we have that disconnect from reality. So sure, eventually... we'll train ourselves to always think of exploiters first at all times, if it's not fixed. But if we come to that point, the gameplay is already ruined beyond repair.

Rocket, in livestream you`ve said that you might add a quiver for crossbow(http://www.twitch.tv/pcgamer/b/322996808 1:7:04) how it could be implemented within arma engine?

i see 2 variants here:

1 extend crossbows mag size, and thus making it powered be quivers with some quantity of bolts.

2 remove the system of mags for crossbow. it will be powered by a pool of ammunition thats is consist of quivers*boltsinquiver(pretty much like it goes in Killing Floor)both variants will also require option to combine mags(you mix mag with 4 ammo and 1 and gain mag with 5), so bolts could be retrievable. or combine mags automatically(just for crossbow)

if you are going for variant 2(i hope so) could this also be implemented for shotgun ammo? cuz shotguns thats implemented in the game dont use mags

I will say this though..."Surviving" is completely useless in this game. There needs to be more incentive to assist your fellow man, and to stay alive. Without that tis is just PvP with zombies and idiots who will ruin this mod and the game completely.

Thats clearly exploit in game mechanics and has to be addressed urgently since it hurts gameplay a lot (speaking about legit players who do not D/C ofc).

Sad thing is,that mentioned dbag assaulted us. He killed me and when my buddy shot him once or twice then he D/Ced...

I would just love to know if it was some dumb kid or grown up without balls...

I think the idea is to actually implement features in the alpha' date=' if its bugged that doesn't matter because its an alpha, the whole point of the alpha is to nail down the features you want to stick with for the entirety. why wait any longer than is necessary to add features if they are ready to be tried and tested, why save up 3 or 4 features to implement when you can stagger them and not get confused as to what maybe causing issues.

use da brain folks pretty sure the devs know what they are doing, it is their game after all.

Use YOUR brain. Adding new features doesn't negate removing not associated bugs. Fixing game braking bugs in far more important then adding new content (bear traps anyone?)

The problem is if you've got a guy pinned down you can't exactly relocate if it means exposing yourself to other shooters in an area (like the NWAF) or some other hot pvp area. Also you might not know if they've DCed or not if they're hiding in a building and you dont go try and check in on them. At least with like a 1 min timer to disconnect or if they alt f4 their body stays in game for a min they risk getting killed while DCed vs DCing switching servers and spawning somewhere else to shoot you.

I think honestly the strat for total domination in this game is get NVGs...Go to a night server, and rob people blind.

Or to lock or restart your server when you or your clan gets raped by nubs...

Why are bear traps being added when there are other "HUGE" issues that need to be addressed? There is already enough griefing with barbed wire. Its placed everywhere. Almost all servers have barbed wire around early loot locations.

I would much rather see the bug fixed where I log in & fall 50 feet in air to my death. That is something that should be worked on.

Not more griefing utility.
