So.. Will this play on the Maximum graphics on DayZ at 60fps+?

No.

I've not seen any evidence that a PC exists that can render 60+ fps in cities with the current state of client/server optimisation.

No

My PC can run it from anywhere between 50-70 FPS while going into the 40's in towns, yet I payed $3,000 for mine. Since the game runs on single-thread, AMD CPU's are going to get you nowhere.

What is it that you need to fit into that budget and is it strictly £300?

well im going on a rough guide of what i can afford, and I just need it to run dayz sufficiently, and then other games will follow.

im aiming for a good starting point PC, that I can upgrade when I can, but wont be overly soon

and id be happy running dayz at 30fps, as i know alot of that will improve as the game develops (which is why i went for a better graphics card over a better processor.....i think lol)

I'm still kinda new to the whole computer equipment stuff, so I'm not sure how to find out what graphics card I have and such. But this is what I could find on my computer.

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium

Processor: Intel Core Duo T5800 @ 2.00GHz 2.00GHz

Memory: 4.00 GB

System Type: 64-bit

Any help on how to find other information or if it's too weak to run this would be great. I don't care about high graphics or anything I just want to be able to play.

No problem.

I believe you will be able to run the game on lower settings.

If you go through this Topic you may find a reply to your question.

I doubt youd be able to run it with that cpu and in future post the graphics card please

http://www.cclonline.com/product/113528/NoMfgCode/All-CCL-Desktops/CCL-Elite-Besra-Gaming-PC/CCL-EL-BES/ Hello poeple of the internet.

Im just here wondering if the PC ive linked above would be able to run DayZ, I have not got the biggest of budgets and its clearly a cheaper PC compared to some but this game has really got me hooked by watching videos etc. Ive not got much of a clue about computer gamimg so im no pro. Please dont comment If its not intended to be helpful.

Thanks.

Well dayz is running on single thread so amd will get you nowher, and i dont think that computer has a graphics card which means you wont be able to run any games

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit

GeForce GT 540M

Can this run dayz? At least at low on 30fps?

http://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/spartan54820/saved/33U3

I'm guessing that's a joke ;)

For anyone with or wanting an AlienwareX51 with the cheapest package available the game works just fine, relatively cheap PC so if you just want to play the game it's an option that works.

The standalone anyway I've not tried the Arma " mod.

About this system guys would it run DayZ on high graphics?

Yup. Probably not completely maxed out, but not far off. Run DayZ from the SSD for best effects.

That machine would run the game, but it would perform very poorly. I would not recommend buying the game with the intention of running it on that system, sorry!

Maybe. If you can still afford DayZ after buying it, anyway.

I figured, and like I said "I'm not sure how to find what graphics card I've got", otherwise I would have posted it. I guess I'll skip the game then.

The X51's Price-to-Performance ratio isn't good... I would suggest building your own. It's really simple and there are tons of how-to vids out there.

Hi, I am a new pc player and wondering if someone could help by telling me if this Laptop will run the game:
Intel Core i3-2350M CPU@2.30
4.00gb ram
64 bit operating system.

Intel HD Graphics
I understand a laptop is not the best for PC gaming but its all I got at the moment.

Any help from developers if they are here or other players alike would be awesome. Thanks

I got. Prebuilt pc for $600 came with

gtx 760
core i5-4440 processor
8gb ram
1tb hdd
Intel h81 mobo

This pc has been discontinued by ASUS, I got the last one and it was an open box which is why it was $600, I got it and was broke, waited 30 days and got it back and it runs smooth as butter, I run day on medium settings with rendering all the way up, with a good fps rate, not sure on exact fps but I'll edit it when I find out

45-50fps outside cities, 25-30fps inside cities

Okay people let's get one thing straight. If you have a laptop, you will most likely not be able to play with steady frames and high graphics unless yours is custom built costing you up to $3,000.
