Can I Run DayZ Retail (POST HERE)

Recommended Posts

I'm using a 240 as my old PC melted (lol) and it works fine, everything's on low of course but the gameplay is still as fun. Soon I'll get a new one but it'll do for now

As previously mentioned, i5 is more than good enough. There's no reason to pay 100 more for ~10% improvement and more expensive does not always equal better so I'd definitely save my cash and put it on some good set of headphones instead

It is weird but the website I'm ordering from, for the same specs except for the fact they are i7 and i5, they cost the same.

Do you have a dedicated graphics card? If not then no, definitely not. Sorry!

No, and I'm fairly sure that the person who wrote that doesn't understand how CPUs function. A 2.3Ghz quad-core does not equal 9.2Ghz of processing power. It has four cores, each running at 575Mhz.

Anyways, you should be aiming for a relatively modern 3Ghz CPU and decent dedicated graphics card to run the game at a playable level.

It has onboard graphics which is terrible for gaming. I doubt it would very well.

What's you're budget?
