Harri 0 Posted May 18, 2014 I'm using a 240 as my old PC melted (lol) and it works fine, everything's on low of course but the gameplay is still as fun. Soon I'll get a new one but it'll do for now
Legoman2179 2 Posted May 18, 2014 As previously mentioned, i5 is more than good enough. There's no reason to pay 100 more for ~10% improvement and more expensive does not always equal better so I'd definitely save my cash and put it on some good set of headphones insteadIt is weird but the website I'm ordering from, for the same specs except for the fact they are i7 and i5, they cost the same. Mos1ey 6301 Posted May 20, 2014 Hey, just wondering if my computer can run Dayz. This is my info. Processor: Intel® Core i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30GHzRAM: 4.00 GB64-bit OS Thanks Do you have a dedicated graphics card? If not then no, definitely not. Sorry! -Fast AMD Phenom X4 9550 Quad core processor providing 9.2GHz of processor power.-4GB of RAM-320GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive-AMD 3100 HD Graphics with DVI and VGA connectivityCan I run dayz on this? Thanks No, and I'm fairly sure that the person who wrote that doesn't understand how CPUs function. A 2.3Ghz quad-core does not equal 9.2Ghz of processing power. It has four cores, each running at 575Mhz. Anyways, you should be aiming for a relatively modern 3Ghz CPU and decent dedicated graphics card to run the game at a playable level.
