In my eyes, rocket's statements either mean a release is within today (friday 8th) or monday/tuesday of the coming week.

I am still thinking it will be the coming tuesday because a friday release is very unlikely, considering that any kind of quick fix or server issue cannot be resolved over the weekend. At least I assume so.

Why even concern yourself, probably the only thing I've learned as I have gotten older, is dont worry about something you cant control. Sure I would love if its released now, but Alpha's are mostly Shit.

 

Except for Battlefield 3, where the pre-release (alpha/beta) was much more enjoyable than the actual game when everything but the portable suns got nerfed.

Yes it is in comparisant ( Although its a Mod that has restrictions placed on it ) to other Games out now , haven't played it since SA was announced actually, neither have anyone I game with . I'm honest , has nothing to do with being part of a Forum.  And yes most Alpha's are SHIT but they serve a purpose , they allow Teams to get in Cash Flow to allow to pay the Developers Employees to be paid whilst finishing the Game .

 

But not sure why you are bringing up the Mod in reference to my Post, we are discussing something totally different to the Mod

No Mate just thought they are still only a week ago adding Team Members and it seems they are doing finally some real testing, that sort of testing could go on at least a Month all based on assumption, but no different to some of the other Idiots lmao Remember the Halloween Fools :D

Ah fair enough, and you may be right. However, with Dean vowing to zip it until the "final lap" was completed, and now suddenly adding fuel to the fire, I believe we're not that far away.

 

I also believe that rapid succession of DB updates yesterday were related to the steam page info.

Just looked at some pictures of Prague, looks nice to me. Then again, most of the time I'm trying not to be a cynical grump.

 

On topic though, I feel as if standalone release is pretty imminent, too (matter of days). As I am looking forward to Project Zomboid as well, I will at least be distracted by it as soon as it releases today!
