Due to 1.8.0 having loot issue's i have listed all hotfix's in the notes.

* [FIXED] - Loot system lockout timers updated. (Should correct 0 loot pile issues)

* [FIXED] - Chop wood from any location. (You are no longer able to collect wood without being near a tree)

* [FIXED] - Object locations on server start should spawn correct. (Potentially fixed issue with tents,camonets clipping into the ground)
* [FIXED] - Moved gutting back to PV (this should correct gutting issues)

* [FIXED] - Removed refuel option on destroyed vehicles and study body option on animals.
* [FIXED] - Gutting animals works properly now
* [FIXED] - Humanity system and kills displaying incorrect.
* [FIXED] - Blood level is now synced direct to server every 10 secs. (No more sending to all players on server) Performance Boost.
 
* [uPDATED] - Mechanic - Sepsis chance from "bleeding" raised from 1% to 30% (More like 3% once 10% bleeding effect is taken into account).
* [uPDATED] - System - Zed Aggro on all Weapon fire now changed to a more dynamic system to allow the overall distance the shot was heard to changes the way and amount of zeds response. ((50 Meters and below = Run to location),( 50-71  = 50% chance they walk to location), (70 meters and up = walk to location))
* [uPDATED] - System - Zed Damage output base scale lowered (from 300 Normal/400 Viral to 250 Normal/350 Viral)
* [uPDATED] - PBX Boat speed reduced from 125 to 85.
* [uPDATED] - Login time has now been reduced.

Quick Install Info:
 
Full

  • Download Full Client Files and beta files from links above.
  • Navigate to your arma 2 operation arrowhead directory
  • Extract the @Dayz-1.8.0.3-Full.rar into your arma 2 operation arrowhead directory and install the newest beta.
  • To start DayZ use a command line string like the below

Expansion\beta\ARMA2OA.exe -mod=@Dayz;CA;Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -noFilePatching -skipIntro -nosplash -noPause -world=Chernarus
 
Patch

  • Download Patch Client Files and beta files from links above.
  • Navigate to your arma 2 operation arrowhead directory
  • Extract the @Dayz-1.8.0.3-Patch.rar into your arma 2 operation arrowhead directory and install the newest beta.
  • To start DayZ use a command line string like the below

Steam

  • Right click Arma2: DayZ Mod, select properties.
  • When the window pops up go to the "BETAS" tab
  • Now Select 1.8.0.3 in the drop down box.
  • The files should now should now update
  • Launch as normal

i assume in 1.8.0.4 we will be seeing:

 

*[Fixed] - You can now fish out of a flying biplane.

 

i wont stop pestering you intil you put it in Mr Razor.

 

 

 

On a serious note, nice changes, ill keep an eye out for anything on my server.

just downloaded lates battleeye filters but all ppl are kicked with the BattlEye: PublicVariable Restriction #1

hot to fix it ?

also gutting animals leads to a kick.

 

to fix you need to add != "PVCDZ_obj_GutBody" to the end of line2:

 

line 2 should look like this:

It dowen't make a difference, you are just adding a useless exception.

 

You also need to change

to

what are you talking about? where in my post did i recommend to add 5 PVDZ != 5 PVCDZ ?

 

1="PVDZ_getTickTime" was exactly what i posted above?

 

anyway, there might be better solutions than what i suggested, but what i added prevents players on my server from being kicked ...

I have a small problem, and you loot it normal that my server wrong.
we have almost no weapon or loot?

how I can fix this problem please?

How exactly were the loot system timers updated? How long between new loot spawns and such now? Do you have to be further than 120m for new items to spawn now or is that still the same?

What I meant to say, perhaps not so clearly, is that the filter rule (hence both ends of the inequality starting with 5) PVDZ does not filter for PVCDZ adding != "PVCDZ_obj_GutBody" will be unnecessary. All you would have to do is change the line above like so

I been having problems gutting for all animals again but this time it kicks me entirely off a server saying "Setpublic variable restriction #38"

 

Loot spawning is definitely better by the way :)

These are battleye issues see the Prerequisites for more info.

 

How exactly were the loot system timers updated? How long between new loot spawns and such now? Do you have to be further than 120m for new items to spawn now or is that still the same?

 

Still the same.

 

When are you adding the .50s back in??
