Suggestion/Feature/Idea Poll

There is a poll running on Reddit to see what ideas people want to see developed the most, there are about 150 options and you can pick 5, you can vote for the same item 5 times or vote for 5 different items. The last one had some interesting results and Rocket is following the results of this one closely.

And I might come back and explain why I want to vote on some additional things than the 5 I'll end up voting. Because I can, and it might spark a conversation.

I spent a long while deliberating over what my five will be. I'm sad to see that a better range of movements (SMK Mod) isn't included, only "better character animations".

The agony of choice.

EDIT: Looking through this list, some of the choices seem to be deep changes to the game at engine level, and some are just a few lines of code to implement. Some of the choices are already confirmed as well, so why vote for them?

EG:

Crafting (big game change)

Crafting of bolts and arrows (subset of crafting).

Increased range for sound so gunshots can be heard farther away. (config entry).

Customizable vehicles (confirmed for post-release).

But then if I don't vote for customizable vehicles, then it looks like I don't give a shit about it...?...

Why not just vote for the big engine changes and then the small stuiff could be done easily?

Or is this a test to see how narrow minded the community is?

Can we clarify what the vote is about please? All of the options should be in the game. I'm assuming we are voting for what we want to see first from the Dev team?

So if you think being able to milk a cow or a goat is most important over more storage space then the Dev team should put all thier effort into milking cows before starting anything else.

Also I'm guessing that the top five results will be the first things we see in the foundation release? With everything else included in subsequent patches?

The results of the poll are unlikely to change the foundation release at all, they might influence Rocket to rethink his priorities for later updates though as it gives him a better understanding of what the community thinks are more important.
