IMO this HAS to coincide with a chance of gear destruction (victims gear) when you shoot people.

YES, Less hostile players is a GREAT THING. Please implement this in the next patch.

TL;DR version

Half of the reason people are Bandits is because there afraid of new and inexperienced players making bad decisions and killing them right off the bat; just under the assumption they think that's all a bandit wants to do, steal there gear and run off.

I'm a bandit, mostly because i wanted the camo before they added the Ghillie was added, but I don't senselessly kill every player I see. When I see a player, I'll talk to them and if they don't respond, I'll shoot them. If they do, I'll even try and work something out so that neither of us can end up unscathed.

I've never been to the coast just to kill noobs, If fact I've never been to Cherno. I honestly wish i could be rid of my bandit skin.

If you make newly spawned players spawn without a weapon, they have no way to fight back, but that also means that bandits have no reason to shoot them since there no threat. That the only reason I kill players at the coast, because they will always try to shoot me first.

Yes, because honestly only clueless mongoloids hang around the coast anyway, who are going to die weapon or no. Encourages people to move inland.

IF AND ONLY IF we can somehow punch or melee infected/other players. It is glaringly unrealistic that we cannot.

More teamwork. More real survival. Higher intensity. Forced stealth tutorial. Add lower weapon spawn on the coast.

Simply, Realism. The Makarov wasn't such a popular handgun that everyone happened to have one during the Zombie Apocalypse.

This is a very good point.

It's not, the point is just let people spawn without loot... Lets see what happens then ^^

And my answer to no gun at spawn is plain YES !

I don't shoot unarmed survivors. Less shooting means more creative thinking in survival situations.

Seriously, the only thing stopping wholesale slaughter of new players is the chance of being shot. Groups of bandits with stashes of gear will make it impossible for anyone to get established.

What about starting with the mak but w/ no ammo. And making ammo for it more rare than it already is.(since it's already more common than beans & soda)

But only if you spawn w/next to nothing (bandage, water, thats it). Will stop any benifets for killing respawns

NO.

Right now there is a ruger 10/22 in my house. And a break loading shotgun 10ga (single shot, it's old). A handgun is kind of the wrong starting weapon. I'm for a more realistic starting weapon, but starting with nothing is frustrating. RUN, WALK or CRAWL. Unless that has been fixed.

If melee is (or can) be incorporated. Spawning only with a plank of wood for example.

Yes.

Replace all current spawning equip/food with;

map/Compass

reason;

1. Maps are available anyway on internet by alt-tabbing

2. map/compass as spawning loot do not make newly spawned bandit targets for loot.

I have seen this comment a few times. Assume I'm dense:

How exactly does not having a gun encourage you to move inland, rather than head to Balota/Cherno/Electro where you are more likely to find guns quicker?
