lol my server is used mainly for the "continues" dayz needs but lacks. MY server is used as a "soft death"" if i die and spawn on the coast i have essentials in barrels by the spawn points so that i dont have to run for three hours to get geared up. My server is a no kill server so i see people regularly and we chat a bit and tell eachother where we saw a tire or an m4 or something and we go on our merry way.

lol yup, the map is always empty and then you hide a barrel and someone takes your guns out of it and replaces it with sweaters and sticks...... fml.

I would also say a 5 minute maximum animation or the option to "hastily break down tent" where you drag it along the ground half taken apart and are forced to walk slow lololol. Don't put your tent near the military bases, i have found like 3 tents within 2 miles of the bases and yup i took them and i set them up like 1000 feet away just to mess with the persons head lol . Fyi guys.... you can hide your military tents in the big warehouses.... mines been there for months nobody goes in those because they know nothing spawns inside

sorry, it happens. This is beta for you, but this sort of thing happens in all shooter games when there is some lag. Dayz is bad when it comes to this. I have shot someone point blank with a shotgun to the face and saw blood fly but somehow they killed me first with one shot from a pistol. Try not to get too attached, it happens to us all.

Zombies should never spawn near players or because a player is in a certain vicinity. there have been too many problems with zombies popping up out of thin air within 50 feet of you and starting to chase you. I believe they should spawn once, roam a path and divert from it to chase you if they hear or see you, and when you kill one it should fall down and play dead for about 20 minutes until it rises again to roam on its path with zero aggro if you are in the vicinity this way you are always on your toes watching those dead bodies.

Yeah I found it already thanks, there were some options on the server control side i wasn't seeing. it's all sorted out now. If anyone wants to play let me know i am jokerofdeception on steam and my server is Tim's no kill server. I'm just rummaging through the military base looking for guns and bullets, then going to fix a car and drive some barrels to the north side where the spawns are so i dont have to spend 8 hrs walking to get geared up. Dont worry guys i don't kos theres no point lol

i started my own server from fragnet but.... I can't find it anywhere wtf. I changed the name like 3 million times and restarted it three million times but cant find my own server whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy lol anyone else have this problem? it shows other people joining my server but i can't seem to find it.

The little city right across from the tent city military base at the mid upper left of the map has a barrel that spawns in the street. this is where i server hopped for about 20 minutes and collected 3 one day to stash all my tuna and womans dresses.

Anyone else getting persistence issues? Across 3 different servers my car vanished, and so did my large military tent full of gear. the only thing that stayed acrpss all three servers was my barrels full of tuna.

I can't take out the battery or spark plug also, ughhhhh someone is going to steal it like the last one.

Ok I repaired a new sedan, it is missing doors and headlight but everything else is ok. it starts and rev's up but wont move.

bean storage..... duh!

Come on, that tent should hold like 8 barrels hahaha.

Wait...... the storage only holds 2 car tires and a rifle.................................................. bullshit.
