If you look around at everyone who uses it correctly' date=' it works fine. You are playing an [b']alpha mod, and you're worried about a "beta" patch? When they are aleterted/aggr'ed they will know where you are, and they'll follow you even if they cannot see/listen you anymore (break of LOS). If i manage to hide inside a building, or just using a building to break the LOS, they should only have an idea (inspect the area) of where i may be, not the exact location.. otherwise it still too unrealistic; as unrealistic is to crawl around them without em noticing you. One of the biggest problems with them (and what makes them not so scary) is the fact they move slow/get hung up inside structures.If they can run inside buildings it would surely make this game and Zombies ALOT scarier.I assume thats an engine problem though and not a mod problem.
