hi there any server to test ping (dallas,phoenix or new york)?

also there is minimum time of use before you cancel the service? i mean i rent for one month and if i dont like i can easy cancel the service ?

If you contact sales (sales@hostaltitude.com or via our ticket system) we'll provide you with some test IPs.

There is no minimum time, as long as you cancel at least one day before it's due then it will be cancelled.

can i get my server time zone changed?

Yes we can do that for you.

@Jonnerz, if I get a slotted server can I pick a timezone or is it stuff to the time the server is located? I only ask because a Chicago server would be great but most of my friends play after work so we would want it to be offset so it isnt always night time.

I notice my server's time becomes unsync'd, I'm pretty sure it's GMT -4 EST (I have a server with you in NY). I noticed when I logged in last night at around 9PM EST, my in-game watch said it was 5:30PMish... and still bright out.

I don't think the time zone changes are sticking. They seem to reset themselves after a server restart.

Also anyone else with Host Altitude having issues today or is it just us? Logged into my CP today to check something and noticed status was showing as Unknown and the Activity CP is showing as down. Not sure if there's some sort of unscheduled maintenance going on or if our server just blew up. Put in a ticket, just awaiting a response.

I ordered a Dallas based managed server yesterday morning any info on when it will be up? I also put in a ticket. Number is #156395. Thanks for any help.

Is the service backlogged right now? I also ordered a Phoenix based managed server yesterday and it is still in pending status. Can't say i am a fan of paying for something that i cant even use, but I would also understand if there was a valid reason for it. Any response would be welcome.

I have a feeling they're also attempting to add the recent patches to current customer servers as well. I can imagine they're extremely busy at the moment. Unfortunately HostAltitude can't force datacenters to set up servers on demand, especially when there's quite a few of them. I imagine Host Altitude won't count the days your servers aren't available as days of service provided.

Unfortunately I doubt you can inquire for refunds as stated in their ToS (I presume, all hosts have some variation of no refunds for digital goods). Reason being is they've already put in the order for said server and have been charged themselves. Just be patient.

interesting how many other game server providers will put up dedicated servers within 8 hours and also stay in constant contact with the customer....

Well, its tomorrow afternoon and still no server.....

I (and probably a lot of other potential customers) would really like a definitive answer to when we will get the servers we paid for. Also, I really hope the billing starts when we actually get the server and not when be paid because that will be a week loss now.

I'm having this same issue since early this morning (EST), I cant ping the server ip. I too am waiting on a ticket response
