Yup I gave him back the power to ban people for talking in side chat. For reference when the other player told them to get off of side chat they did it via text. I can show you the server_console logs if you want. It looks like you two just have a personal vendetta against him. Granted he can only ban, has no other powers, but I feel that is ok. If you don't like it then go play somewhere else. I do not force either of you to play there (to be honest I don't care where you play) and it isnt like there are thousands of other servers out there to play on. I am done dealing with you two.

I have already addressed the whole hacker advert thing before, a hack was sold that would put a giant news banner on a server. By default they put my name in the banner to make it look like it was me. As for knowing hackers that makes my antihax for me, yes that is true. The code is the same as the code over at opendayz. I haven't removed the menu, like I said I restricted what can be used, such as removing the ability to spawn anything in. Honestly if you don't like it then don't play on my servers. I really don't have to explain anything since I do not force anyone to play on my servers.

Yup, during the last server restart I changed the rcon passwords and everything.So that would of been around 4pm CST. Prior to that I had removed him from the admin list but had forgotten to change the rcon passwords.

As stated he has had all his powers removed so he is no threat, he can't even ban or kick people. All admins have been limited to spectate powers only. I would count that as taking action. In regards to banning him, I am clearly to blame for giving him the tools. I see no reason why he can't play as a normal player.

Until 1.7.6.2 comes out and moves the anti-tp script into the mission file, people will continue to spawn in the ocean if a bandit or hero. I run this as a hobby, don't actually play anymore, and any donation has gone straight into server costs. Any access at the end of the mod will either go into paying for server costs of stand alone or be donated to my local goodwill. I personally have no need for the money,

1. This is being considered, as I said I have to look at everything. 2. There is no need to wipe the server clean after a single incident like this, I had already posted about doing this before but players do not want to lose everything they have. I really do not see a need to wipe the hive. 3. I might as well then just not have admins then, as they would basically be a normal player with just a ban button. That is not enough because as soon as anyone dies they scream out that a hacker did it. Most servers out there use an admin map, it allows us to see if people are teleporting, if they are carrying banned weapons, and if someone does complain that some had god mode we can determine who was in the area to look at.

Due to work I am normally not around to handle that. I have restricted spawning commands for all admins at the moment and have completely removed all commands from INS as we look into this. I am taking action on his abuse of the menu. As for the admin map stuff right now it is just two players accusing him so I need to look into in further. I run these servers as a hobby only so while I am work they get pushed down on my priority list.

If that is what I typed then it was a mistake, it was meant to be in regards to INS. Right now INS is harmless because he cant do anything. I have to look into whether or not he abused the maps prior to this. Like I said the abuse of this menu was a one time thing.

I already told you, I removed his power as soon as your post was made while we look into it.

So why are you telling me this now after videos have surfaced and not before?

That menu in game is not a "hack", it runs server side and shows for anyone with their UID put into the list. I personally don't even use it, considering the only time I log onto my servers is to make sure an update didn't break something.

Yes I allowed my admins to use a menu that I created mostly for testing purposes. It has come in handy for legitimate use such as the new antitp developed by the mod team causing people to spawn in the ocean. With this menu they could move them to the coast or back to their original spot. When I released people got a little excited and went overboard for a single day, from that point on it has not happened again. I can easily view at anytime what commands were used and when to determine if use inappropriately. I just find it funny that people get so pissed off if an admin has more powers that the players (aka like every other game out there). I could easily remove this from my admins but then they would basically only have the power to ban/kick people based on accusations made by other players. Now they can just spectate the player in question (which is nothing new, just check opendayz) and remove them if necessary. Sure spawning in stuff might seem overpowered but that fact is now if a player loses gear to do server issues any of my admins can replace it for them. Like I said I can remove this easily, but I personally would rather allow my admins to actual do stuff instead of being a player with a ban button. As most have said here they have not had any issues with my servers before, this was a single incident that got out of hand.
