Stop wearing so many clothes and sprinting everywhere. It's summer.

Your character will show Hyperthermia/hyperthermic (high temps) due to a bug. But keep in mind it is also 'Summer' in Chernarus for this update (I believe even the devs mentioned this). So while you'll want to gear up with the most slots available (heavier gear) you'll sacrifice over heating. I tend to remove hats/gloves but I doubt it really helps with this bug. Ive been in water, drank gallons, and it still shows hyperthermia regularly.

All this is really doing at the moment is causing your HYDRATION to fall rapidly. Keep hydrated and the overheating is not a problem at all. I rarely sprint, but run a lot. I keep 2 or 3 canteens/bottles on me and fill up every chance I get, but I only burn through hydration fast if I run constantly. Besides, do you really need to get somewhere in a hurry? The maps only so big and its not like you have a reason to sprint all day unless you're server hopping through airfields or something.....  (but that's none of my business)  :)

I see that it's bugged, but the principle that it's summer and times have changed is one I quite like about 0.60. It is a serious bummer for travel times (I jogged from Sinistok to N Sobor and back last night - took three hours), but that is probably as it should be.

TAKE YOUR CLOTHES OFF, SILLY; IT'S SUMMER TIME!!!  RUN NAKED THROUGH THE LUSH FIELDS OF INFECTED, AND LET THEIR WANTING CLAWS CARESS YOUR NAKED FLESH.  bEFORE YOU KNOW IT, YOU'LL BE HUDDLED BY A FIRE FOR HOURS, AND MISSING THE DAYS WHEN YOU COULD RUN AMOK, UNHINDERED BY CLOTHING.

I wear full USMC clothing, Olive HI-cap, assault backpack, M10 gas mask, and green cowboy hat.

Everything but the vest is usually in my backpack until I stop running for a few minutes and need the camo/storage.

I am almost always sprinting around.  I HATE standing still; it gets my emu-senses (paranoia) all worked up.  My running mates are often annoyed with me because they never know if I am huddled in a bush 5 feet from them, or if i have ran a kilometer off in a random direction.

Also, I notice that the USMC clothing never seems to get more than damp, so it's not that great for cooling off. I know it's a bit inefficient, butt I like my "cheeky" workaround.

I hate to show off about it, but full Smersh set seems to have significantly less heat factor than Hicap.... Might just be pride of ownership though.

Theory is that USMC is like Gorka in that it's water repellent, so has a low absorbency score. If you want to remain soaked/damp for longer, cargo or TTSKO pants (sorry, trousers...) are the best bet.

The smersh setup is nice, but I am somewhat supeerstitious about it.  I never seem to survive more than 12 in-game hours while wearing one around the map.  The only drawback to my penchant for the woodland camo, is that I have to farm two cycles to fully cool off.  No biggie...

The game is just buggy, one time i got online(it was raining) i started overheating with my char instantly. Tried swimming and shit and the char was complely drenched.
Still I was overheating, even in a rainforest that shit shouldn't be possible.

Good news is that overheating isn't a big deal, you lose a bit more water.

'Overheating' is a bit of a misnomer because it sounds like a verb or process, whereas in fact it's a status that you enter above a certain threshold.

You can be cooling down slightly/prompty/rapidly while remaining over that 'overheating' threshold. And even if drenched, you may need to sit still and wait to cool down.

I really wish the devs would give us a digital watch in the game giving server time and the date / month the server is set to so we have a clue.
