Gotta love DayZ logic, I just accidentally drunk a whole gas canister of fuel and got energized. Charcoal tabs and I'm good to go :D

The next logical step would be to vomit and then light using matches, then you would be good to go !

I haven't seen a syringe in 0.58...

I personally haven't seen antibiotics. I don't check the big hospitals much, mainly the small blue ones and have yet to see antibiotics. I only find scrubs, paramedic clothes, morphine, blood bags, test kits, IV stuff, and epi pens.

Can't say if I've seen a syringe or not.

The only place I've seen antibiotics is in the small tenement buildings.

Those buildings seem to spawn tents and bandages, and occasionally you'll find antibiotics there too.

Remove your pants, it will allow the cholera to stream out more effectively.  :P

I still want to be able to collect the diarrhoea in a bottle, though.

Me too. It would be more fun to trick people with or force feed than gasoline!

Spam or not, this thread actually worth reading.

The medical system was so complex back then (4 years ago)... Good stuff.

1.05 seems ridiculous to me.  I can understand if I drink from a pond,  but I just got cholera from a well.   With in a min or 2 after filling my bottle and drinking water I was sick.   Earlier I got sick and the only thing I drank was a soda that was given to me at the start like 10 min from spawn and I was sick and could not make it anywhere that had any medical supplies.

I'm blushing slightly at the honour of having my four year old thread necro'd...

Part of the problem with what causes sickness in 1.05 is that I'm not sure what the incubation period is. So, was it that Z strike ten minutes ago, or the dodgy bottle I found and drank from five minutes ago?

The blurred vision thing is a nice addition, but sickness seems a little less complex. It's just a lot more prevalent.

Whatever the case, tetracycline is pretty much an essential piece of equipment in 1.05.
