It's difficult mostly for newcomers to understand where they are even if they find a sign . So it would be better if the signs had the name of the city in both languages :) ! It's more realistic this way

Chernarus was the center of US/NATO/UN intervention. It is common practice to place translated signs in English for personnel using local roads. Seeing how foreign involvement extended to sandbag forts, light armored vehicles and HESCO walled bases, signs at least at major roads and intersections wouldn't be too far fetched. English is the language of trade, Even Air Traffic Control towers and civilian pilots need to be able to speak it.

Would remove a lot of the uncertainty and sense of not knowing that most players feel when playing DayZ.
