Not every bandana as face mask?

Are there only certain bandanas that can be used as a face mask? Many do not offer the option to untie them, neither in inventory nor on the head (no matter if pristine or not). What's the difference between the convertibles and the non-convertibles?

There is two types...

A bandana CAP cannot be untied.

Any regular bandana can be untied.

I've only found 2 that can be turned into facemasks, they were black with white spots and red with white spots. I believe there may be 1 or 2 more colors but for the most part the ones with polkadots can be converted.

Some cant be untied, that's true.  That type is only wearable on the top of your head.

 

I'm almost certain the only other difference is colors and cloth patterns.

The difference is that the developers were too lazy to make all the bandana's they had currently in the game untie-able, so they just ADDED items to the game that were.

 

Same goes for disassembling weapons. They ADDED a weapon that could be disassembled instead of working on the ones they had in the game already.

I really like the camo one, but would love to have the black one.

 

I wish they would make a 6 slot black shirt.

 

I wear the black outfit and a black cowboy hat. I find the black bags would be cool., or the ability to dye it.

The bandana caps were in-game before the untieable bandanas. Bandana facemasks came at a later update.

 

Why they haven't made it so all bandanas can be tied is beyond me. Irks me too lol

Pshh pattern doesn't matter you still look badass in them all. Iv worn bright clothing with them or sometimes military and they look fantastic.

They have mentioned in the past about color changing dye options for ALL colors. So don't give up hope yet. Pretty soon your going to be able to turn any piece of clothing into the desirable color that you want! :)

I hope they make all bandanas tieable eventually. Seems stupid that only some of them can be tied... maybe the ones worn as caps just have a really, really tight knot.

 

I do have to question their choice of colour, though. If I wanted to cocneal my face, for whatever reason, I don't think high-contrast floral patterns and polka dots would be my first choice.
