You do wonder about the enjoyment people get from just looting, and looting, and looting.... I appreciate there is a limit on what is possible within the game but just looting must get really boring after a while.

Yeah, I'd like this sort of stacking to be removed from the game. Not that it's not possible in real life (to an extent) but I'd like to see clothes emptied, rolled up then either placed in the inventory (taking up only one or two spaces) or attached to the outside of the bag. Not sure if it would stop hoarding but I do feel the idea of storing content in your inventory that takes up less space than if you had stored it separately is wrong.

They really need to work on the "Item Inception" that is going on in this game, it shouldn't be possible to put that sort of gear inside of one another, besides that it causes major desync.

Its probably why the offender didnt get a shot off because he was so dsynced he didnt see it coming. I use to play with a friend of a friend and i always wondered why when we teamed up my game went to complete shit . He died one day in a gun fight and when i searched his gear he had back pack in back pack about a dozen layers deep( i believe they have stopped that one now right?

I'd like to see item and carried weight be more of a factor in game, in general. 

 

I don't know, I switched over to a private hardcore server after this, just seems like the HC servers don't have as much of this sort of behavior.

I think items stored in other items should not be able to have anything in them with the obvious exceptions of first aid kits hard cases and ammo cans. Can you fit a a tactical vest in another tactical vest? Maybe but not if its full of cans of peaches and bullets

If you server hop, the penalty should be a loss of blood..which you would have to regain via eating/drinking and sitting around for a bit, or die to the first bullet that hits your foot.

Death to hoppers, of course, but do you realize that the standard ammunition load for a NATO soldier is 210 rounds?  That's 6 full magazines in the same kind of vest that will only hold 4 for some weird reason and 1 full magazine in the weapon.  SO, really, if you think about it, he was short at least one magazine.

On the contrary, I do think you should be able to stuff some things inside ammo boxes, like jackets, other misc items and things. Everybody has or knows a grandpa that stores half his ammo-unrelated shit in ammo boxes, meanwhile keeping all of his actual guns and ammunition in shoe boxes under the bed and couch. Well... maybe only in the US but the point about storing other things in ammo boxes still holds. Really you should be able to store other stuff in medical pouches as well, I mean what black magic is it that IRL stops you from putting a soda into a medical pouch or ammo box. Maybe there could be some kind of perk to storing items inside their appropriate containers, like doubling their stack size limit.

 

But yea exploiting storage by putting containers containing things into other containers inside containers is kind of lame.

This is a part of the game.

Stacking vests is not a problem, at all. It's a feature of the game, the game is on alpha and for now you can stack vests, but one day you won't be able to do this aswell. So actually let people enjoy their time doing all these, because one day they won't be able to.

If this really bothered the devs, ghey would have fixed it already. It's going to get fixed, but its not prior.

the h- cap vest will take two standard vests but you cannot fit an h-cap into an h-cap. Standard vests do not and never have fit into each other. Do you object to carrying an ak74umin an h-cap vest in a rucksack? I do this to protect the vest and what is inside it from damage. You would be amazed at what and how you can pack a hunters ruck.
