Why are the devs making the gaming so diffcult?

I think we as a community should not label anything "troll" that goes somewhat against the core ideas of the genre or game.

 

We should always consider that there are people out there that are totally new to this general concept or just have different favorite genres. With that in mind: I disagree, the core aspect is difficulty and survival. And that makes the game challenging by having to work for almost everything (besides pants, T-Shirt, shoes, a battery and flashlight). Or by having a lot of luck and finding valuable things quickly ... merely because another one left them behind.

(Also, for the record, DayZ SA as it stands is ridiculously easy. Easier than ArmA, easier than Xcom, I could go on. I don't quite know how people are even finding it the slightest bit difficult at the moment.)

DayZ should not be so difficult.  Everyone should spawn with transport and a weapon.  No one should have to pay for a game where the devs INTENTIONALLY make the game crap by spawning you as far away as possible from the action in elektro.  It takes an hour for the average dayz player hours to loot items to be able to fight, only to have it taken all away by a glitch, hacker, lag, or a camper.  The devs can easily implement more weapons and ammo in the game.  Why should the majority of players suffer for a couple of devs who think that people have 3 hours to waste on collecting items.  It's not going to be the end of the world if a new spawn easy access to a weapon or transport.

Your style of play is more Call of Duty. If you cant handle having to actually be good at a game to play it, then go play something else. If your good at this game you can last as LONG AS YOU WANT without a gun and transportation and good gear. Spawning with a gun would ruin the game. The "devs" will never make this game the way you want it to be! Suck it up and go play some team fortress 2 or call of duty. Get away from games that actually require time and skill to play.. smh, some people..

I have a feeling hes just someone who saw the hype and didn't really learn about the game before he bought it. Probably a younger fella. Who knows maybe dayz will grow on him. But don't go dissing on him too much, I want him to keep playing. Because when .51 hits stable, I will need a cash crop of asshat meat to eat. People like him will keep my avatar alive through the winter. :beans: hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

I am not a troll, I am fed up with the game so I finally decided to post a thread on the dayz forums.  There is no downside of spawning with a weapon.  Why should someone have to pay for a game that won't even give you a fighting chance?

Don't give up!  Once you get good at the game you will be shooting other people in the back and making them quit.

When dayz has more than a hundred players on a server you will see why everyone needs to spawn with a weapon and transport.  Everyone will hoard the weapons and transport like they already hoard everything else.

I agree, everyone should spawn with a weapon... And a vehicle... And maybe some food/water/morphine... and a bulletproof shield .... and a function to enable like an auto-pilot that takes care of walking and actions...
