Attachment(s) for the B95 (and things in the gamefiles)

Recommended Posts

i know i know xD

But given the fact, that the LRS should actually function as a hunting scope(looks like one and has no reticles),

leads to the logical thought, that the B95 should be able to equip it.

(if you understand me,got some weird english)

I might be entirely wrong with my assumption anyway, but I don't see a reason to add mildots at this point.

The only reason I keep my unrealistic Mosin Nagant is because of the LRS I have on it.  The compensator, bayonet, and bipod I have are all dispensable.  I don't really know/notice any real increase in performance from them and think that they are more attachments than the Mosin deserves.  I've used the Blaze many times and LOVE it.  I can hit any zombie that I can see without issue on the first shot.  I swear, you put that front bead sight on a target and they are as good as dead.  It is a very fulfilling firearm, too.  Aesthetically, it is phenomenal.  The sound gives it that solidity that it deserves.  The two-round capacity gives it a certain exotic flair.  If it could take attachments, I would drop my Mosin in the middle of Elektro without hesitation for one.  A LRS would be AMAZING!  I've suggested and seen suggestions for cartridge holders before, as well.  Only thing I would take over the Blaze would be a good ol' levergun.  Then we're talkin' business!

Amen. Nothing more to say ;)

Yeah my perfect west class would be a Brown cowboy hat, Python .357, Blaze 95 with hunter scope

= End-game-gear(for the player with style)

Actually the Blazer 95 is using the same ammo of the mosin...And as already said this is gonna be changed: Blazer will use different ammos

So that i'm hoping as this is a weapon for hunting animals bigger than the human being, it will one shoot an human on Stomach, Torso or head

So that it's gonna be an alternative as a sniper weapon to the mosin....with the difference that you have only 2 hits, and you must aim very carefully and also it's more accurate...... 500 m vs 600 m effectivness.

Would be sad if this weapon will ends like a double barrel shotgun: once you find something better you'll replace it!

All weapons must be unique on something in the game, to fit the purpose of the players which would adopt different playing stiles.

actually, the B95 is closer to the SKS, than to the Mosin (accuracy-wise).

dispersions

Mosin: 0.0025
SKS: 0.005
Blaze: 0.004

I don't actually know, what these numbers say (maybe 0.0025 inches per 100m?), but the higher the disp., the bigger the spread.

Higher = worse

I don't now, if they will change the ammo.

they would have to introduce a new type of ammo, and we already have the 45, 5.56, 7.62, 0.357, SKS-thingy-ammo, 10/22.

With the AKM and the SVD there will come 2 more types, I think

I don't find anymore a video where it shows the accuracy of the Blaze, by shooting at a barn from a long distance and stating that it is more accurate than the mosin...it only lacks of attachments.

AKM will use the same 7.62x39 that the SKS uses, no idea what the SVD uses IRL, hopefully they use the real ammo though.

I think it would also be nice to get the Mosin ammo actually be 7.62x54R.

this?

Here you see the dispersion. It's actually nearly as big as the SKS's.

I don't know, why they changed it, yeah.

bit weird, but who knows.

I think you can mount scopes on the Blaser without a screwdriver.

However, if mounting a scope would require a screwdriver(in-game), I'd be totally OK with this.

yeah but all weapons arent able to have attachments so you could need to screw rails to weapon and then to attach sights or bibods on it

I would like to see different quality of ammo too. Shooting crap 7.62x54r will make the SVD shoot crappy. That being said, I only use bear. Oddly enough, it's the same bear you see on the SKS box. It's not match ammo or anything, but it's non-corrosive, and doesn't have hard primers like wolf. Nothing wrong with wolf, you just need to make sure you clean every last drop of cosmoline out of your actions, or you might have every fourth round fail to fire. :P

All of this being said, the B95 should be far far far, as stated earlier, more accurate than a mosin, but to truely make it shine, you need match ammo!

Why do you keep going on about the "balance" of the rifles? You seem so insistent that weapons with any range be limited to low-capacity, slow-firing weapons for whatever reason.

It's sort of irrelevant to the thread, but why do guns like the SVD or M700 annoy you so much?

It's hard to tell, but hm...

(I think) the more long ranged weapons, the more sniping/camping => KoS is made easy

You know, I totally misread him the first time. I was like you know, I've heard the blaser 95 is a quickly little well balanced gun, like ridiculously well balanced. I like balanced guns! If guns aren't balanced, it's harder to aim them!

And then I realized he meant the overall effectiveness and not the weight distribution.

Edit: And irishroy, you're not american are you? I've grown up with a remington 700 and I just thought, you know, if stuff ever got bad, we'd have an accurate rifle. It never really struck me as weird, just a part of life.

R700 would be cool, but then again, at this point in the game it wouldn't really perform any differently; Mosin currently uses 7.62x51mm/.308 for some reason and also holds 5 rounds. They could do the alternative calibers of the R700 (which seems like something they would do), though.

And yeah, you're probably right about this instance, however irishroy has complained about the R700 specifically stating that it shouldn't be in because;

" 1. It's American, 2. It's a high-caliber sniper rifle, 3. It's a high-caliber sniper rifle "

I was questioning that
