payday 2 M4 and weapons compared to dayz

Way to ignore 90% of my post and just reply to the parts you choose while ignoring the rest.

 

Those charts show that the AKM catches up to the SKS at 800M and that the SKS loses accuracy at a much higher rate than the AKM starting at 300-400M and like I said I've seen the left chart and that isn't the entire thing they go up to 1000M so my guess is the bottom is chopped off because they show the AKM becomes more accurate.

 

 

The bottom is chopped off because they only gave values to 800 meters for the AKM... they went to 1000 for the SKS.

 

It doesn't somehow "lose" accuracy faster than an AKM at long ranges, how would it do that? Influencing the bullet after it's left the barrel doesn't happen. I assume at long ranges it becomes more difficult to hit with either weapon due to errors in range estimation and windage.

First off I'm tired of you.. The gun is always gonna be more accurate then the person, so don't say someone can't shoot beyond 1000M with an AK just because YOU'RE not physically capable of it.. A lot of things come into play, ballistics, eyesight, stability, control and timing.. I have a great understanding of physics and I can translate this into my shooting which helps me achieve better accuracy then most. One thing we all agree on, the guns need to be fixed because there very inaccurate compared to there real life counterparts.

I'm 52 and i've never been caught up in the supermodel women hype. If I'm interested in a woman I prefer her at first to not know about my job/income. I've even bought a SEPARATE trailer home just to take potential girlfriends to on the first date to get an idea about whats important to her. I don't know anything about guns so not really too invested in this discussion, but GJ keeping a level head and trying to prove your claims.  

 

Personally, I'm sure they'll increase the accuracy and effective range of the m4 eventually, but it would be disastrous if they did it in the current game state.  The m4 would just be so good and they already spawn very often.  Wait for them to add more guns and diverse loot IMO.

As much as I wish this could have been a bit more formal, I have to agree with you. I use an AR-15 on a daily basis and I know how an AR-15/M4A1 should handle. Dean is taking a WarZ-type approach to weapons by making them stupidly inaccurate in hopes to reduce KoS but the fact if the matter is, make the rest of the game realistic, then the weapons arcadey can be a bit awkward.

If fucking Dean wants realism,,,,, then how come every damn pistol we find never has a magazine?    In the real world, pistols normally have a magazine.

I know its weird but I was playin payday 2 me and a friend we play dayz a lot....I mean a lot. so I got the default weapon and its an M4 would you believe and I've tested it to see they act the same are the devs wanting weapons like this all arcade and shit. if so this is crap it works for payday but not dayz come on fellas its not the halflife engine and we are not shooting cops though that would be nice I miss the cop zeds I liked putting them down fuck the police but anyway anyone else notice this. play payday use the M4 variants and tell me this isn't the same gun. its good for the same range and everything fucking bullet spread. please give us authentic weapons I don't care if I get one shot'ed I want authentic weapons like they are in real life. they won't do it because it would be to badass one shot from an M4 from 500M would be a death sentence. and I've shot these weapons they can do that range I shot one for a few hours with a 120 rnd drum a bipod and a scope it was a colt H-bar. I was shooting the primers out of empty shot gun shells at 300 or more meters and I'm no military trained fucker I'm a CIV so don't give me that we are CIV bullshit. the first gun I ever fired at the age of 10 was a full auto TEC-9. so make it realistic or make this some arcade dumbass shooter if so then we oldschool bastards that know how weapons work and have actually shot these weapons in REAL life will be disappointed and that's bullshit if you ask me. screw these gamer fly by night hype sucking noobs give us what we want a simulator with realistic weapons fuck balancing I want realism.

so most guns group at 1moa at 100 yards, and you were hitting a primer(thats about a quarter of a inch) at 300 yards. the only rifles i know of that shoot that accuratly are these futuristic looking peices that are mounted and dont move at all, and those get around .5 moa at 300 and they clean the bore after almost every shot. not to mention the shooter error. i dont see people in real life being able to pop people off at 500 yards with a ar consistantly, mostly when your heart rate is going to be pumping from the adrenalin, maby while prone on a slow walking target for the average shooter. this is in my opinion

The military has the effective range of AR-15 type guns at 500M because that is the distance they've found most people are able to consistently connect 7-9/10 shots on a human sized target.

That's already built into videogames it's called if you're good at games you can aim and if you suck then you cry about KoS. umm we were talking about real life. in dayz ive killed a been killed, i usually die because i dont shoot and ask questions later my first question generally is are you friendly and im met with the wonderful black you are dead screen. i try to play as if i would in real life, in real life i wouldnt run up to someone and kill them without a second thought for no reason, some people would.

I edited my post due to a typo.. It was 0.3 MOA which I really meant. Before I conducted this test, I bought 2 SGL-21's, I buried one of them for 2 years and still achieved this type of accuracy, now get off this thread.

shorter barrel doesnt screw with the accuracy that much unless your shooting paper from a rest its not enough to truly notice

So you can accept that he can consistently hit a target 1/7th the width of a dime at 650M using iron-sighted 7.62 AK variant with the accuracy the best snipers to ever live couldn't even dream about achieving with a .50 cal anti-material rifle and using a gun sighting vice to hold it steady and focus on the part where he says he buried a gun for two years? :huh:

Almost forgot about you, in the army we were issued swedish AK-4 (not a kalashnikov), galil I personally was a machinegunner Mg-3, and also we have KSP-58 I think was the model name.

But the Kalashnikov I shot back in Russia was AKM.
