Would You Want To See a Player Report Button?

Lets think of this in a perfect world, a world in which the button isn't abused and abuses of the button are obsolete.

 

I meet a lot of players and a very select few enjoy exploiting broken machanics in the game. I would love to have a report button in which would banish these types of players to their own "special" servers. Would you want a report button and if you do what would you do with players that are reported for exploting, hacking etc...

In a final release yes, but in an alpha or beta you actually want people to exploit things.. that way they can get fixed. ;)

Terrible idea. If it's in the game for any reason whatsoever and isn't hacking, it should be permitted. 

 

This is how competition works, unfortunately. You either have to wait for the devs to do shit about it and fix it or jump ship to a game that listens to pointless qqing.

Use a bandage or any other action on them and it'll show their names.

As much as a report button is a nice concept, I think it should be kept as just that.

First of all; It will be abused. Secondly; Someone has to keep track of the reports, and somehow be able to determine which ones are legit and which ones are just a player dying from a glitch or from getting shot from a distance. And then punish them accordingly. Probably hundreds of reports would pop up daily.

 

We already have two anti-cheat systems in place that cover different areas in different ways (with some obvious overlap), so adding an additional -- flawed -- method for dealing with "misbehaving" players is pointless for the most part.

Yes and no, because first you would have to know the player names to report. 2nd, if you can, people would just report anyone who killed them and assumes that theyre  hacking or glitching when they actually were just outplayed or some other stupid reason.
