The people who look down on bandits and KoS players = annoying?

I mean what did you expect?

 

The game has cuffs, burlap sack, guns, and rotten fruits. Do you think the abundant amount of rotten fruit is there just for the setting? This game is about survival. Humans are dangerous too when resources are scarce.

 

I am not judging or criticising a certain playstyle. Play however you want I don't care.

 

I just find the group of "good" players that look down or moan or preach and ridicule badits/KoSers generally are annoying. They are having this sense of entitlement to follow their ways just cause there is perma death in this game. Do you agree?

I generally find anyone who attempts to force their opinion or playstyle on other people, As I've stated on here before, I've played almost every playstyle out there, Small, medium, and large groups, solo, KoS, Friendly, Hero, asshat, You name it, I've probably done it. 

The only playstyle that I have no respect for, Is Coasting purely for freshspawns, I just can't comprehend the point behind shooting an unarmed player for no reason..

it's more the lack of anything ELSE TO DO besides KOS

 

people who "are above that" kind of playstyle or kind it going against the game's "vision" are pretencious asshats.

 

getting shot in the face after hours of grinding is rage inducing, i know.

 

this isnt supposed to be a race to gear race to hotspot and start deathmatching kinda game.

 

but i can deal with it, just like the people i get the drop on and either KOS for lolz or to survive HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT

 

 

if you cant handle the dayz...

 

find another game to play

said it before, and ill say it again...a coastal freshie is (almost always) just another dead bandit respawning and trying to get back to his gear. and their fists are just as dangerous up close, as my firearm is at a distance.

when a player with a gun sees another player without a gun or the clothing/gear to conceal one he/she is faced with three options:

 

1. let them pass

2. interact with them in friendly or dickish way

3. shoot them immediately

 

most people camping a bush or a vantage point on the coast for an hour or two are some bored motherf*ckers

I only KOS when I'm bored and want target practice.  I generally don't KOS fresh spawns though... ALTHOUGH, I do sit my cursor on them and say 'bang bang' out loud lol.  

Side note: Tracking in hardcore mode is so intense.  Not having a 3rd person view make things so much crazier.

I think anyone who plays this game with a totally black or white mindset is annoying.  I HAVE to kill anything that moves cuz I am a bandit! (eventhough that is a murderer not a true bandit) and people that are like, I HAVE to help everyone I see and maintain my self righteousness are equally annoying.  

 

Just play the game and approach each situation with an open mind and handle it accordingly by keeping survival as your number one priority and you will find yourself having much more rewarding experiences in general.

lol i am quite happy for the Kos players as they usually stay were the targets are eg the coast im up north havent had a problem with it except on airfields mil bases but then its usually me doing it.... anywhere else ill stalk ya there ill just shoot ya(yes hardcore is intense for stalking...

True. Those people generally have bad aim. It's funny that you mention it because I hear these people are now capping players at the knee so that they would have to crawl around to die. Very lame sport but whatever floats their boat, I really don't mind. I have never done this. Waste of bullets and not challenging at all.

Some people are so uptight that they forget this is a sandbox with permadeath. They can't comprehend that geared people wanting to kill other geared people not equals to being inferior. As surprising as it may be, some don't really care about hearing a dude speak/trying to get a dialouge going.

That's a different aspect not realting to this topic but I will say that in my opinion, 1PP = easy mode. So easy to hide and sneak up on people.

KOS'er that shoots to kill without any other incentive (justified by boredom) = Troll (Some people even admit to keep playing the game AFTER they have reached boredom...dafuq?)

Judgement is a hard thing to stop doing. It requires you to set your personal bias aside and look at something without making accusations or apportioning blame.

On topic: It is equal parts amusing and annoying to watch people bitching about trigger nuts. Any game with guns is going to have them; first person shooters have entrained that conditioning so firmly into our idea of the genre that very few people don't do it. I say this as a player that collects more deaths than kills in this game - I can't aim, and that makes me terrible in PvP. It doesn't bother me when I die to another player for the most part because it's what I play the game for - yet most of the people complaining about the kill on sight mentality are either trigger nuts themselves or players who fully expect to be able to get through the game without engaging in PvP.

That, or they're hanging around Chernarus Ghetto (Elektro and Chernogorsk), looting and expecting to be left alone. Oh, the naivety...
