Kind of worrying how clueless dean seems to be at playing his own game. 

 

He seemed to be in a very creative mood, maybe influenced by a after work beer(or so....)

So i wouldnt analyse it too much. Also keep in mind that his job is to make the game(with others), not to play the game.

 

So please stop worrying with everything he does, its gonna be fine!

 

He also said pen and paper are working like they did early, but now they are bugged in 557 and before even. It's gonna get fixed sooner or later. Remember that normally you would not even see this game without the early access.

Multiple threads have said the same thing.. Last patch changed things, or bugged things, depending on how you wanna look at it.  :)

Confirmed. Even if you don't use it, it will drop down to 0%. At least I was able to spray paint my mosin before this occurred. Didn't seem to matter when I was KOS'd walking into Devil's Castle. lol

OH and Suggestion with the spray paint!  Since you added this very interesting feature I have an idea for it.  Can you make it so we can Graffiti up the world?  Being able to tag your clans tags around Cherno and stuff would be really fun.  Or tagging someones dead body or something.  Great fun could be had with this system.  Great idea!

Something else to add to the spray painting would be being able to leave messages for  friends that are searching for you in the game. Letting them know you were here or where to find you if need be.

I wouldn't bother spray painting the Mosin until they get the ammo bug with it fixed.. Unless you just like the eye candy for the Mosin.  lol.. As it's been said, the next patch should have this fixed tho.  Looking forward to it!   :thumbsup:

Well I sprayed my Mosin and it disappeared. I know this has also been a bug on the new servers. So I just find myself a shotgun and I'm happy!

I was spray painting my mosin too than it was gone from my inventory. I panicked!! Suddenly I can see it a few feet off me to the right on the ground. Pheww..got back my mosin. Not sure about others but this was what happen to me just now. So if you in a building or a room, try to find it in the surrounding area.

nice update,

but one thing really bothers me:

this makes it almost impossible to retrieve your gear after dying far away from the cost.

also, findig corpses is one of the most important aspects of exploring imho :(

I think they did this for a reason.. This also means someone cant kill themselves in the middle of electro, put loot on their body when they come back, and use it as a trap or other things like that. So in other words i think they just wanted to get rid of the whole body camping thing at the very least

Rocket said the 10 minutes thing it is a temporary solution to performance issues (I guess skeleton server crashes, etc).

It will probably be changed in the future.

I can't tell you for sure, but I heard that there's maybe coming an experimental today. Rocket said in a livestream that there's going to be an experimental patch on Monday, and he said it last Friday, so, telling by my logic, this should be today. Of course I can be completely wrong, or the date may change to tomorrow or whatever. Just telling what I heard. Nothing official.
