I don't know if it's me but the server browser keeps crashing since the patch.

I have to ctrl/alt/del every time i failed to join a server.

There are now but when he first said it I was refreshing constantly and indeed there were no US servers.

 

What really REALLY gets up my nose and makes my balls itchy is I lost all my controls, every frigging setting, video, sound everything. Thankfully I back up my profiles so I can copy it back over, but it really is annoying that for some reason it all gets reset. Now I have fixed it all the servers are full :(

No dude, there were servers when he said so. Why'd you try to discredit someone just because you couldn't see the servers, I was even on one like a minute after he said it.

Nope. There aren't. I'm staring at ALL of the new servers right now and all we can se are DE servers. Nice try though. I'm sure if you WERE actually in a US server with the new build you wouldn't be posting on here.

 

Proof: No ping limit, show only non BE servers (ie experimental) no US servers. Show me your proof?

If tents are "game-breaking" as some people suggest, because they somehow negate the idea of permadeath which is apparently desirable to some. Then surely those same people are against the idea of building structures of any kind, such as rocket has suggested could happen with underground bases etc?

The idea of permadeath doesn't work in this game format in a practical sense, it should simply be hard to survive long enough to reach your dead body/tent/stash/underground lair.

 

 

Agreed. Tents could be the basics of all that planned base building stuff. Mod had issues of some servers being clotted by tents everywhere. Perhaps one tent per character? They also take server performance, so perhaps tent would spawn where you pitched it last time (and disappear when you log off, since server changing is allowed) Not sure. Anyhow tents are bit like a treasures =D Nothing better than wondering lost in the woods and discovering somebodys tent and steal the crap out of it.

Only 13 showing up. All full now of course. Since I had to fix this control assignment shit out. Why oh why has it changed now, so I can't use my usual name as before. It seems to be limited so now can only write 15 characters, there are 16 characters in my name :(

It switched to a profile created in my DayZ docs folder, instead of the one I've been using in DayZ Otherprofiles. Very annoying.

also, I notice I can't join regular servers anymore with this build. is this a permanent feature or a bug?

I managed to get on the server with 0 people but after a minute of trying to fist fight people i lost connection to the session :/ now the 0 people servers are gone!

You have to opt out of experimental in Steam to go back to regular servers.

Weird. Maybe you were already using a profile in your DayZ folder, whereas I was using one created in my DayZ other profiles folder. I didn't have to remap, I just copied pasted the entire contents of one file into the other. But I can't change my name. It's usually "TheDyingScotsman" but now all I can write is "TheDyingScotsma" :(
