Hi guys, i saw some people saying that, if you adjust you FoV to the default settings, you can actually use the RF on the PSO, has anyone tried and see if it works ? i'm here to ask what is the default FoV ? Thanks !

The problem is solved, but unfortunately we dont know what exactly was the problem... maybe it was a group of problems too :/ But now i can easily get ~60fps+ on landscapes away from town, and in big town stay around 30~40. i'm now experiencing some other problems tough, my mouse on the main menu is like flickering, shuttering... i'll search how to fix it, and in-game my character wont double tap W to run, only holding shift... anyways, thanks again TheMightLC ! :D

Ok, first part already done, nice clean windos 8.1 installed. i`m installing drivers now. steam, and some other things, by tomorrow everything should be already done

Thank you TheMightyLC for the response. i'm going to the university now, but has soon as i get back i'll follow all the insctructions on this video, and i'll do a clean install of windows 8.1 too to see if it helps (i've got almost 4 years of junk in this HDD, it needs to format now :D) after everything is done, i'll tell you guys if it helped

Hi guys, i'm having sooooo much trouble playing dayz, the problem is ????? you guessed it FPS, i come here to have some opinions on my average FPS, because i think something is wrong... ok, when i'm in the middle of the forest up north when there is just those little towns nearby i can barely made to 30fps i get an average of 20fps, when i'm in big town like cherno or elektro, go down to the 10's, here is my spec: Desktop or laptop? desktopMonitor resolution:1920x1080CPU:17-2600k 3.4ghz (not OC)Graphics card:AMD saphire r9 270x (not OC)RAM:2x4GB, i have an dual channel of crosshairs (not OC)SSD? (Yes/No) NO

Less FOV, gives you extra fps ? thats new to me...

Hello, i'd like to start a discussion here about the changes on field of view affecting the aiming, specially on the LRS. What do you guys think about ? is it just me or someone else hates the fact ppl just press config and changes de FOV to get a good shot ? is this considered a exploit ? in the future the staff is going to adress to this, or better, is this an issue ?

Yeah i think i joined too soon, servers was still poping up when i decided to join one, leasson learned :( omg, i had already 4 netting, runed the coast almost 10 times in 10 diferent servers searching for that... i'm taking a great dayz break after that, till march 2015 then...

Yep, it seem that chernarrus magnetic field is having some anomalies :) , i use the compass a lot and sometimes it is pointing the same as 0.50, other north on the compass is west on the map and some other times north on the compass pointing to the south !

Thing is, today in dayz it is too easy to survive you dont really have an adventure, just enter in any small town and you already have tons of canned food that can make your character hold for like 50h of gameplay. I think that maybe if we had a hard time trying to survive we would give more value to our lives, canned foods should be rare, just saying.... we cant have that now of course because we dont have many ways too obtain food (ALPHA)

I need medical attention now, got a broken leg near the NEAF got shot by a mosin sniper while looting the airfield.. maneged to crawl out, now i'm at the house near the airfield at 119 021; anyone willing to help ?
