Alias Mias 37 Posted January 8, 2014 The problem is, how do you distinguish between someone that has combat logged/server hopped, and someone that has simply lagged out? This happens a lot on Australian internet, so I know for a a fact that I wouldn't be happy if i had to wait 5 minutes every time I lag out.Combat logging is a problem though, the other day I got the drop on 2 guys outside the Elektro hospital. I headshotted one of them with my mosin and before his body even fell over he vanished from the server. This tells me that the bastard has done it before, his automatic reaction to being shot at wasn't to run for cover, but to alt + f4. Your ego is so large it wouldn't surprise me if you just lost the guy you were shooting at and someone else came up behind you and shot, seeing as you have no proof whatsoever that he actually logged. Also im pretty sure that anyone who was a "DayZ master" would know that blasting at a guy in a forest at distance from one of the biggest towns on the coast is a crappy play regardless. EDIT : I now realize that this guy is most likely a troll. If so im leaving my response anyway because im interested to see what response it gauges. If it was you you did shoot my mate and i killed you - i am still there though, well around there.....glad you play normaly and if you kill me, fair play....
