Im thinking this will play on medium settings, the 280 was a beast in its day. I am only going on memories of that hard ware.

 

Below is a video of the arma 2 engine being run with every setting to the wood on a gtx 280, so my best guess is that DayZ SA will run on medium, maybe even some settings on high

 

It's a sli configuration but dual gpus has always had zero impact in arma 2

Yep it will play fine, bare in mind the game is not super optimized so you will have to play with your settings to settle on an optimal experience.

 It will work but only just, also the lack of sound will reduce your enjoyment.

If you buy the game now it will still be in your library when you can afford a new computer.

I have used sites such as http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/dayz/11929/?p=a and it says my graphics card is not good enough however i dont trust these sites as it also says Sim City and Surgeon Sim wont work but they do. What I'm really looking for is someone who runs it with the same graphics card as me which is Intel® HD Graphics Family.

You won't be able to run the game, because (last time I checked) DayZ does not support integrated graphics cards such as yours.

Im playing again with stable FPS but I want help to increase my graphics so the game doesn't look like a fps from the 90's.

 

Anyone good that can give me tips on what to increase and/or decrease to keep graphics acceptable while still having a stable FPS.

 

Currently I got 30-50 FPS in the wildernes and 15-25 in the cities, and got some drops here and there where i get 10~ fos for 3 seconds then falls back to my stable 30~

 

Currently I got 1600x900.

 

Graphics card: Auto, high, high.

Rest is the lowest possible/disabled.

 

Could I increase anti aliasing? shadows? What makes the game look so shit? When I decrease shadows, clouds and terraindetail etc i barely see any difference.

 

The "objects detail" probably should keep low since that increased my fps alot.

Yes, if you delete your config the game will create a new default one the next time that you launch it. This will restore all settings to default though, obviously.
