A sign that the frame rate was quite low due to the amount of players and the server became nearly unplayable. Why else would he tell them to log off? I think I'm actually non-sarcastically CHOOOOO-ing right now...It wasn't any new information I posted - it's all been previously said by Rocket either on Twitter or on the /r/dayz subreddit (or posted by another member of staff).They've really been working towards the same goal for a little while now.It's all about performance, performance, performance now and has been for a few weeks. I'm still here :) We've been very busy. New hires each week, in fact a new designer just started today and we're borrowing a skilled audio person from A3 for a few days to help set things up for our new Audio hire(s) when they arrive. We also have another new programmer starting any day now.Our overall goal is still server performance, security, and stability. In the meantime content continues to roll in, so that's a good thing. All in all i'm feeling pretty good about our plans. But things are very busy, we've been working nights and weekends but mostly everyone took the weekend off (I spent most of it sleeping!).That's a post from Rocket on Reddit.Only the devs are allowed to release any new information so anything said by any tester will have previously been said by Dean or another staff member. Whereas when some made up November 5th release date surfaced people went crazy. I suppose that's a good thing.
