Can I Run DayZ Mod? (POST HERE)

Recommended Posts

Hu guys, I persuaded a friend to get dayz and he has bought this new laptop. we can play the game although the graphics are quite intolerable as well as fps issues. I had these problems when i first started but in addition he has grey triangles glitching up his screen. This link will show you what laptop it is: http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/pc-peripherals/notebook-computers/ultra-portable/NP740U3E-S02UK

First of all, sorry if this is the wrong place to post.

Anyways, I'm just wondering if my laptop can run DayZ, it's fairly new but I don't know if the specs are up to date for this.

How well can I run it? ( If I can run it at all )

Specs:

I was going to post a screenshot of my computer properties, but I'll type it.

Processer: AMD A4-4300M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 2.50 GHz

RAM: 6.00 GB  [5.47 GB usable]
64bit system, x64 processer ( based )

That's all it gave me, if more info is needed I can probably find it somewhere.

Thanks, Rawr.

Not an expert when it comes to laptops myself.

3.00 ghz is good to go but nowadays maybe a fast 2.40 will do the job.

Have a little patience, someone better qualified will give you the answer.

Build a desktop PC with a dedicated graphics card.

That laptop is using an integrated graphics chip built in to the CPU, which is obviously not ideal for gaming.

Since no one replied to my first post, I'm making this one.

I don't need it on ultra, maybe, low or medium, far render distance?

Thanks, Rawr.

Honestly I don't think I can, but even if I get 20 fps on low I'll be happy.

Doubtful you'll see very good frames You might be able to get 14-20 fps on low AT MOST. And I'm being very generous with that prediction.

Hey I have had DayZ since February of 2010, have not been able to play it and I was wondering if this would be able to run dayz

  • AMD E-300 accelerated processor
  • 4GB DDR3 SDRAM system memory (expandable to 8GB)
  • 320GB SATA hard drive
  • SuperMulti DVD Burner
  • 10/100Base-T Fast Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN
  • AMD Radeon HD 6310 Discrete-Class Graphics
  • HP TrueVision HD webcam
  • 3 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x HDMI port, 1 x VGA port, 1 x headphone jack, 1 x microphone jack, 1 x RJ-45 Ethernet port
  • 6-cell Li-ion battery for up to four-hours battery life
  • 5.39 lbs, 1.2" x 14.8" x 9.72"
  • HP laptops have a one-year limited hardware warranty
  • HP laptops include: HP 2000 Laptop, power cord, AC adapter, and Quick Start Guide

I have saved money and I am looking for a good computer to play dayz on, don't know much about them so I just need some help.
