rocket 16567 Posted October 29, 2012 This topic is for information of the status of the next update.This update is the product of a huge community + DayZ Devteam effort, spearheaded by R4Z0R49Affected Addons:dayzdayz_codedayz_server (server)Target date:Monday 29 October 2012 (today)Confirmed Changelog (WIP):Clients* [NEW] Tents can no longer be placed on concrete.* [FIXED] Building checks for tent placement (No longer place tents in buildings).* [FIXED] Tents now are one click place.* [FIXED] Fixed function for checking if in buildings.* [uPDATED] Vehicle repair menus now all replaced.* [NEW] Vehicle menus now list all damaged parts no matter if you have the item or not.* [NEW] Vehicle repair menus will now let you know the exact item you need to repair on failed repair attempts.* [FIXED] Vehicle Damage is now fully working.* [FIXED] Vehicle Killed is now in effect fully destroyed vehicles will now set correct in db.* [FIXED] Tents Now add and remove from db.* [FIXED] Food can no longer be consumed if the player does not have in inventory.* [FIXED] water can no longer be consumed if the player does not have in inventory.* [uPDATED] Updated UI control.* [NEW] Toolbox is now needed for all repairs.* [NEW] New Combat System If you fire a weapon, someone fires a weapon near you, or a bullet/object impacts near you, then you go into combat. During combat, "ABORT" is disabled. I was going to say; not only was I suprised to find that a forum member had helped co-ordinate the patch, but that multiple individuals from the community had contributed towards it. Since we blocked the duping(i'm so happy omg) we may have to eliminate the already duped items that are so abundant all over the servers right now. joemiken 16 Posted October 29, 2012 (edited) Even though it appears they basically took 90% of DayZ Redux and incorporated it into the mod, it's a MUCH needed addition. Wish vehicle flipping was incorporated though. That's extremely handy for ATVs. Would've also liked to seen the "auto-fuel" feature added (drive to gas station, vehicle refuels itself), although I can understand why it's not there. If nothing else, make it so the player has to get out of the vehicle and interact w/ the pump to start the fueling process.
