DayZ is not the game for you my friend, that is a fact. And if you would like to compare lives let's: I am a 36 year old retired USMC Veteran. I own my Business, and work 7 days a week. I am a Father of 2, and have a new baby son. I have been married for almost 2 years now, and with my wife for over 8 years. I play guitar, skateboard, video games, hike, ride motorcycles, record my own music, post on forums (like this one where I have been a member for over a year - see reason why I have over 1900 posts). Now.. how is your life going since you care so much about mine and cant seem to even handle simple, levity when its directed at you?

Is there already an opportunity to setup a tent or something like that? Would be awesome to have some sleeping bags, tents (with several player caps) and a large camping fire x3 ~ additional guitar for tales and nightmares would be awesome :D

DayZ makes a fool of me while I try to kill my character to get a better spawn. I'm invincible as long as no one is watching. Growing up in the 80s, Suicidal Tendencies was once one of my favorite bands so their song Suicidal Failure came to mind. I haven't played guitar in a long while and i think it sounds as bad as my voice which makes this video one of my favorites after re-writing the lyrics to suit this truly unique DayZ experience. I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed making playing and making it.

BUT it is even ridiculous to see our char,just crawling all over cherrnarus(not resting nor getting healed),and just wandering around without even able to get in to most house with tight door. and even ridiculuous to see blurry screen or blind after get sicken for houts(I have alredy been in these situations) the idea of the sleep is at least slowering the dying process and give us the chance to straighten our legs while fractured or broken while sleeping instead of crawling I was annoyed even at point where I sarcasm myself "there's a bed beside you why didn't you go sleep there""nah,il just prone beside it"(very unrealistic),(maybe even suicde if you didn't have any rare loot) and for some of us who just want to sleep to get a good effect like(refreshed,vibrant color on screen,emergized,jhealthy) you can but it will have great risk too so it wont unbalanced the game I think -able to sit on a chair and couch ya simle animation simple coding wont matter much but think it would be good -In addition to the "guitar etc ;thread" maybe add a boardgame or even card game(if you found it)like chess chess wont be suddenly become a strict mini game, the idea is to only allow players play this game while on first person viewing,and move the chess units on by one by our crosshair , and there wont be any strictness in moving parts or when to move parts ,its up to you,but the other player will get pissed off if you do that ,then a bullet in your will most likely to happen,so you have to know the rule of chess first (just like real life,without the bullet thingy though -Make the radio Interactable ,fck even looted,well beside the faulty walkie talkie which needs revisement,think there should a communication within each player in the cherno lands(miles away each town (no communication ?at least broadcast) the radio wont be just to be each 1on1 communication,it s for broadcasting a safety areas or something like that you know? -add curtain,and make it open/close-able to not let other players knowing where we resting in nighttime.so the chance for us to be banditted is reduced -Please let us hold a door from a zombie, to stay outside the room we entered and even maybe let us to put/push/pull things(tables,wardrobe,couch in front of a door) with the upcoming ragdoll physics which will able us to drag players why we couldn't drag things? -Able to distract zombie to other direction or trapped it to a room 2 things I said above is basically good for freshpawn who will encounter lot of zombies and stronger responsive zombies(confirmed features) to defend themselves bside sthealthing -Able to get fresh fruits in a trees (synergy with upcoming features(plant seed) its freaking realistic idont see why not?,this features will lead to a KOS or Friendly action(building community,maybe you thinks its not fair whom found the productive trees but of course we have other things to fulfill,you want camp forever near that tree trust me,even for freshspawn)they don't even have backpack you know? -Please improve the first person viewing experience(if i remembred correctly dean hall already plot for this update with 1:2 mouse movement if i remembred it correctly) I know its still alpha,but at least make the mouse movement more accurate and responsive.,i mean accurate,is not to overact our mouse by looking to much the left or right(you know what im sayin) I just want to let dayz early adopter know that , dayz is actively developing ,not just stopping and make little changes, THE community of dayz forum and it developer have been very good in developing this game by creating many good ideas in the forum and in update, IF you see the video link,you will see that dayz will implement massive updates,and its not even stop there yet,with the sales expectation from our dayz devs fullfiled and even make a crazy surplus,undoubtly they add updates features based on some the suggestions this forum. Ok, I guess the jig is up. I will admit, I'm a bit flattered you thought I was a developer. I am not a hacker, nor am I a developer. Its all smoke and mirrors my friend. When I spoke of the creation tool, I was speaking artistically as its the creation tool of all of mankind [my name is the ultimate giveaway]. You can get a better look at 2:11 of the video. I had to Photoshop the bottom of a ricebowl to make the image presentable in the hotbar. The other item in my inventory is a Weyland Modular Computing Device [WMCD] as seen here in Module 1.1 http://www.weylandindustries.com/electronics A big giveaway was the box for hotbar #8. If you look closely its not transparent. Its a bit solid. To achieve that would have taken a ton of key-framing and additional hours of work. Apparently, it worked. Its amazing what one can do with Final Cut, Photoshop, After Effects, and Audacity [guitar track at the end is an original piece played by me and recorded through an Turtle Beach X12 headset]. Words to live by: Never, EVER believe what you see as the eyes can be easily deceived. No hard feelings man, I just coudln't resist when you called me a hacker. A little fun in the forums!

I think they have a beer in game already; that Rasputen whatever stuff. Guitar and perhaps other instruments; hells yes. Smoking; again, hells yes. What part of "my character wears a cowboy hat and carries around a sawed-off" don't you understand? On the whole "smoking is terrible" subject: I don't think adding smoking to a zombie appocalypse game is ethically questionable, I do, however, think letting young and possibly impressionable kids (the assumed object of the ethical queston at hand) play a game like DayZ is.

So there is no log system but how about a system logs our journey and tells stories when we sat down and activate. Logging important things like i walked in city named bla bla bla. Killed 5 zombies found weapon Blabla. maybe some artistic telling would be better. Adds some comments and jokes maybe. P.S. Learning from books like little stories about cherno history or myths. Only thing devs need gonna be a one more programmer and nice sound actors. About 25-30 sound actors will be enough for realistic random feeling. options we should have --- Tell your story --- Tell a joke --- Tell ( heroic, dramatic, moral etc etc ) story from books maybe --- Sing a song (with guitar or Balalaika ( russian folk insturment ) And thats gonna give us a question our characters accent ? we are native of this town or foreigner ? i say how about a random. After we respawn our character's voice and accent should change. for a last thing we should get a voice command tree like battlefield series. When we press it we should get options like follow me - Are you Friendly ? - yes - No - I need help - Stay Here etc etc. That would help ppl has bad microphone or bad accent. Name says it all, a acoustic guitar that when equiping can be used to play, you can play chords with the keyboard for example: chord c is played with the c key EDIT: Camping is boring without ghost stories and playing a guitar at a campfire

Maybe put a guitar and record a few basic chord progressions, so we can chose a pre-recorded acoustic song by scrolling the mouse wheel. Like... play blues play country play rnr play pop something like that. And then people could make up their own songs and sing them into the mic, maybe tell their own story in a country style ghost song, like in the video.

A simple acoustic one would be fine in my opinion. But I'm not sure about the system your proposing. There's a lot more to music than the chords you play. What I'm trying to say is that your system is really limiting the possibilities and the songs that can be made with it. What they could do is add a certain amount of songs to the game, and when you activate the guitar it plays a random one, but for it to play, you need to press specific keys when it is said for you to press them, not necessarily like in Guitar Hero, but a similar concept. This would allow to have actual nice songs and involve player interaction.

i myself play electric guitar aswell but since electricity doesnt work anymore a acoustic guitar would be better, i was thinking of just playing the standard chords like c,d,g,f,a,e, maybe am aswell??

There should be royalty free music available all over the internet... even on youtube. That said, I had a musician friend of mine make my intro music and it works out pretty well. I have a few friends who sing and play guitar also, so I am going to hit them up for some cover music. I'm not sure if cover-music is allowed, or how the copy rights work on that. I'll have to look into it. Either way, I watched one of your videos and looks like you're on the right track. I don't really appreciate the bandity behavior, but at least you have some good action.

Probably jamming my W button down, running towards NW airfield, and learning how to play a song on guitar on the journey there and back. I'd recommend it to anyone who plays, even just to practice scales etc!
