Well that's the beauty of it it's not really an event. All it is is a drop you'd find scavenging the map. There's no plane crash, no pile of dead bodies. Just a lone backpack that you could put a story too. And of course the pack would have a super dope skin on it. That's the downfall people are gonna wanna kill you for that pack.

A little bit too much with npc's and stuff. Maybe put tac boards around the map so players can make their own missions and put them up on the board. It's hard now because there's paper all over the place. It's easy to look past. If it's on the board you know a player put it there and you know it says something.

Haha my bad, but it see what your saying. I thought with the prepper packs or something like that it would bring a little life to the country this was pre virus. I see your saying rocket wants us to create the sotory but I think one or two backpacks full or loot (by loot I mean some food, water bandages and maybe some ammo or something.)

Another part to the survival aspect. After this updating for cooking and all the other fixes to survival I think they should add more camping. Place different tents and maybe seats or someone you can take back to your camp and set up a little camp or even eventually a whole community. Another thing would with the day night cycle make the day maybe an hour and night maybe half an hour. This way you have to plan on when to scavenge and stuff, then when it gets dark head back to your camp to cook, craft, whatever.

You know them damn bandits be eying up that guitar from a mile away. Lol Great idea though man.

I know it's really early alpha, but I don't believe this is too difficult. I know everyone loves loot and especially loves coming across something rare. Rare loot to some might be a high power military weapon or some piece of body armor maybe. I think to improve on the survival concept maybe place around the map something like a preppers backpack. Some dooms day prepper fell and lost his pack for of good survival goodies. That's just one example. What do you guys think?

This is mostly for the standalone but it would be better that instead of being able to build wherever you want you first have to ready the ground that you are gonna build on. For example maybe you have to find a tractor or maybe a tool and go out in the woods and make a plot to build on. This would stop clutter and being able to build wherever you want and make it more of a challenge to get an actual base up and running. So players can stop blocking off areas just to screw other players and such. What do you all think?

Like any normal person that should be playing this game I work and am still broke. And a hoodie costs at most 15 dollars to make buying bulk. Unless it comes with gold lined pockets 60's a no go

Just a suggestion to lower the prices on the dayz gear. Seriously 60 dollars for a hoodie? Can we please get real and realize not everyones a rich spoiled kid. Please make the gear prices more realistic. Thats unbelievable. I honestly cant believe you would try to do that to us. I understand you have to make money for the standalone and what not, but only a handful of people will but that stuff for them prices. Highly disappointed in the dayz team.
