why are you portraying yourself as speaker of peoples, like the devs are so out of touch or something? the devs and the community are active, some of us don't like certain builds, some of us take breaks, some of us take part in experimental builds. The game isn't dying, people just play other stuff and check back later and have another few weeks/months of DayZ, I know I do. Mod the shit out of it before it's even classed as released? then maybe "Join my server and donate for a starting loadout and lockable garage/hideout?" no ta.

would be fun to implement at some point in 1pp maybe like a non tunnel vision effect, (maybe when there's an obvious noise like a zed aggroing close by or a nublet running towards you in a yellow raincoat with a garden hoe raised) is for a split second either your head turns, or your pov widens to get the peripheral vision warning in a horror movie type way, just for a split second. I'm finding it hard to put into words but I'm sure at least one of you know what I mean, not enough to save you, but enough to make you poo a little bit before you die. Probably unlikely to ever happen and may cause massive lag in trying lol

atm I am playing alot of wasteland A3 on 1st person only and I am loving it, the 1pp servers are generally rammed too, strange

sorry, I only started playing this build yesterdayso apologies if already reported: I am getting a bug where when I log in or even use fountain/drink soda/eat food the attachments and ammo from my weapon disappear until I drop the weapon on the ground and pick it back up. It was easily worked around by doing just that, I realise bugs are to be expected :) Then I came across a strange situation where I couldn't drop weapon to my back to drink from fountain, So in trying to force it to do so by bandaging I ended up duping the weapon, then again when at fountain when drinking I duped another: By all means remove this post mods if you think it shouldn't be here, just so long as you are aware of it, you can't make it happen, indeed this incident at the fountain was the first time where a dupe happened for me.

pretty sure you can get infection by drinking directly from well, using empty tin can is safe though. Makes sense, like putting your mouth around a tap in a public bathroom really isn't it lol

still in development but yes, I see it similar to you really. Not really a bad thing, there's lots of fun to be had if you don't want to take it seriously, there's allegedly fun to be had 'killin bambis' when geared. Me? I get geared and spend the rest of my characters life hiding, eating poor quality food and drinking my own piss until I die lol. some statements maybe slightly exaggerated

I am back into the mod now, loving it, so much more to it now :) I however wouldn't shout from the rooftops "OMG go and buy Arma 2 /OA at fullprice to get this mod!!1" I would recommend you give it another go if it is in your library though, and maybe recommend a friend to pick up Arma2/OA when they next pop up in steamsales at a heavy discount :) what I found hardest adapting back to the mod was the inventory/action keys hah

loving it, it seems to have picked up a bit last couple of weeks. Currently on the dev build meself, think it will impress on release :)
