Can I download the DayZ Map?

I really like this map and I was wondering if anyone knows how to download it for use offline?

And I'm not just talking about a screenshot..

The map takes awhile to load on my connection. Surely there's an offline version somewhere?

Not sure if trolling, or stupid.

Sure, it'd be fine if you want the whole map or a very specific area, but I want the flexibilty of the map application to be able to zoom in and out where I like and mouse-over different structures to get information on them just like I can on the website.

Do you know what I suggest? Don't try to be sarcastic. Stick to easy insults like "you're a fag" and whatnot.. I'm pretty sure even you couldn't mess that up.

Though, I've been wrong before.

Actually it's a flash script, you need this script to view the map the way you want. Not sure if they'll give it out.

It is really hard to get a good picture with the loot spots lapping over each other if you take a screenshot, but you're looking for an image here, it's hard to get a map with zoom in and other cool features if it's not online.

Just write "DayZ loot map" to google images and see if there are any clearer images. Atleast I found a good vehicle spawn one.

If you have an Iphone/pad/pod you can download an app that has a loot map and allows you to zoom in on specific buildings.

there is an app for that for android phones and also apple shoite. Failing that find a printer friend and he can print you a huge feck off one for you!!

Many of you guys just don't get it. My internet is barely good enough to play games but it takes forever to load the online map.

I want all the functionality of the online map without having to wait for all of it to download. I actually emailed the creator of the map about this and he responded positively, saying that there was a "hackish" way to do it (without going into details), but also that he's considering releasing an offline version through chrome apps or something to that effect.

I know but I reduced the size as to be a little more user/Forum friendly.

The original is 26 x 22 cm at 72 dpi.

The one posted is 10 x 8.2 cm at 300 dpi.
