Yeah, i know that you cannot do it by yourself, at least if its not a dedicated machine ^^

As you said, its really important for our community, because we want to be able to play at least partially at daytime which we only can achieve with UTC change ^^

Hopefully that will be possible.

Lee changed my personal server to GMT-5 which is east coast time.

If you notice above most people want that time area but there are also others that want "I have only just one question - how to change timezone? Currently it looks like server time ~11pm and my time ~8am and this is no good"

It is difficult for us to manage it all and we are trying to come up with a solution for everyone since the only way to change time for servers is to change the server time. DayZ team has stated that there will be another way released soon.

Changing the timezone is possible.

You need to contact Lee on Skype (lee.netarus) and let him know the timezone you want changed. From a support standpoint guys' date=' there will probably be longer wait times if you use the forums. Please send a PM or a skype or even an email (jstilljr@student.dwc.edu). We can take care of things better that way.

Dedicated servers =

Full Resources of the host machine, meaning that your machine is not shared with anyone.

Virtual server =

Part resources of the host machine, meaning that the resources on the machine are shared.

Reco, add both persons from Vilayer on Skype, or go to their site, open the Live support window, type in your problem, leave the window open - wait :)

Don`t close the chat window!
