Hello Dayz community, i have many ideas to make Dayz even better than it already is!
Let's get started

1. Face painting, you can find paint or even craft with earth and water, this improves the team strength and scares the opponents before a fight.

2. a crossbow with which it is possible to kill people and animals, you can use the arrows several times before it breaks.

3. Safe zone, in this zone it is not allowed to kill or shoot people, you can also exchange items or sell items with fellow players. For this it would be good if there was an in-game currency, e.g. Coins, cash etc.

4. Raincoats that you can put over your backpack and clothing, these are often used in the military to keep soldiers completely dry, the disadvantage is that you cannot get to your items so quickly.

I know that Dayz is very important to realistic things and game feeling, but let's be honest Dayz is a good game that has a lot of potential to become even better.
Dayz is all about spawning, looting, killing people and then dying!
With the 3rd point you have at least several goals.
I've asked a lot of my friends and teammates and they all think these ideas are one of the best I've suggested.
Dayz has been around for so many years.

Warm greetings from Germany! 😘

1.  How are you going to 'scare' real players with face paint?  are you saying you believe it would or suggesting there should be a penalizing game mechanic?  I'm against the game mechanic.

2. A crossbow would be cool.  A plain bow would be cool.  A sling stone, Atlatl, SCUBA style sling spear, frog gigger (use regular spear for fishing), would be cool.  Hunting calls, snairs, and bait would be cool.

3. No, Civilization is gone.  It would be nice if we had a mechanic that allowed us to trade/sell things to other players but I think it is too much to ask.  They need to get what they have created working first.

4. A military style poncho would be nice.  They are light weight, inexpensive, and commonly used throughout the world.

This would take a lot of the challenge they are trying to create out of the game though as that and a pair of waterproof pants would make you immune to rain.

Why do you think they start you in cutoff pants and a t-shirt?   If the climate is that cold do you think a sane person would be wearing cutoff pants and t-shirt?  You would be wearing something weather appropriate.   I often wonder what the back-story to this game is supposed to be.  Why am I dressed for a sunny beach?  How much time has passed since the infection?  The houses are mostly in good shape, the property surrounding the homes look appear like it's been cared for less than a month ago.  The cars look like its been more than a year since the outbreak. Live 'zombies' wondering around suggests to me it just happened.   Who knows?

With a face painting you can better see who is your enemy or friend, when you are with a group you can better organize the group

Your post said nothing about consoles. Personally, I think BI made a huge mistake doing DayZ for consoles. It took away resources that could have been better utilized for PC and the deployment and development of the console version was very lackluster.

I think console players would disagree. I personally don't find anything lacklustre with it, and the cash injection from console sales certainly didn't 'take anything away'

This simply isn't true. Dayz was a troubled game long before console development. And it wouldn't have been developed as far as it is without console release. Sorry to burst your bubble but dayz problems have nothing to do with console release.

Everyone says consoles didn't hurt the PC version of the game, and that is complete hogwash.  DayZ has always had issues, but the community was misled about adding consoles to the mix,  DayZ is essentially where they beta stuff for the new Enfusion engion engine.  The way Bohemia has developed this game is a textbook case study in how NOT to develop your game in the open and essentially shove your community by the wayside.  Personally, after 7000 hours in this game, I doubt I will ever by another Early Access title from BI.  I'd rather them just put it out for release and then determine if it's worth buying.  They really pooched the screw on DayZ.  I love this game so damn much, but BI gave birth and have almost destroyed it.

Which resources from the PC dev team?  Could you be more specific?  And, do you think these resources were more important than the large group of developers that left the company after 1.0?  I guess I don't understand how additional revenue worked against the company.   Could somebody explain, in detail, how adding console support hurt the title?

As far as the suggestions in the original post,... yea.  Those have all been well known suggestions for years.

Rather than working on console, those individuals could have worked on PC. Releasing an unmodifiable basic game on a system substandard compared to PC was a waste.

They wouldn't have been hired in the first place if they weren't developing for console.

As far as it being a waste, I think the console players would disagree. You're clearly one of those players who likes to moan and is looking for someone to blame. If the game upsets you so much you don't have to play it, right?

I play on console xbox i think the game is great .could it be better yes ? I play Elite dangerous which is a game with loads of servernone of which you can mod but there is no glitching even if there is 100 players on one server. Would i like what the pc players have hell yes but the server need to be better if the were able to stop the glitching through towns when driving no matter what server or where you are would go a long way to making an even greater game.

I have heard that rabbits are comming to console dose anyone know when?

I haven't heard that they are, but they added the spawn locations on izurvive app recently. This may be for PC as I believe rabbits used to be in but caused some issues (on pc, long before console development!). It would certainly be a nice addition, especially if we could craft snares. Either way, a good use for the Spotter!

Excuse me, the new Player controller and all the BS that went with it including losing most of the weapons, making vehicles server sided, etc was (in part) due to LIMITATIONS of Consoles.  This game was dumbed down due to the money grab, it's that simple.   I cannot recall a single game made for PC that was made better by supporting consoles... NOT ONE.  Developers made more money by "adjusting" i.e. dumbing down their product for the peasants.  Consoles are fun for kids, but at some point you grow up and by a PC and experience games as THEY SHOULD BE.
