I can't access gates from the inside or outside.

Someone told me to remove the wire. LMFAO, I'm locked out now and you can't dismantle from outside, so how do I dismantle the wire. Oof.

We don't have the disable/enable feature for the base and container damage. This is needed badly for console private servers.

player on official servers had a base in a barn with walls and fence blocking doors on the inside. Used 4 hand grenades 2 axes and 5 clips of ak 74 and didn't do anything to the gate or fence walls. His boxes on the inside broke( I lobbed the grenades over the top of the gate to hit the fence from the inside and threw 2 on the outside of the gate) ZERO damage done to gate still pristine as ever.....

Desync still as bad as before but you can finally loot the weapon in peoples hands without cutting up the whole body. The new sway system with the hunting scope is great, well done.

Water render issues still not fixed and I think the overall performance is as bad as before (I can only speak for the PS4-Pro + SSD).

Glow sticks seem to be broken as there is no light source coming from them and the red glowstick does look like the white one. Pretty weird.

So far I would rate this Update 4.5/10 as the major problems aren't fixed yet (e.g. Desync and Performance)...

Please fix the freezing issues on ps4 community servers. People do not want to wipe the server just for a little update. I have DM's you my server details on twitter as requested

One of the most frustrating inventory bugs is still present, every time while I go to inventory I holster my my weapon by pressing triangle and then I am unable to move through my inventory to select any thing I then have to leave the inventory and re enter and every thing works as normal. Extremely frustrating and time consuming.

Also it always takes too many button presses to navigate through your inventory using down verses using the up input can you please look into this aswell. 

One last issue I've noticed today is item desync in hands and inventory is hitting me worse than before the 1.08 patch, I only play on one private server and the admin didn't wipe the sever for the patch so I'm asking if anyone else is experiencing this desync aswell or is a simple fix of wiping the server to update it going to fix the issue?.

Ghost bullets are back,desync is just as bad or worse than before and no performance issues have been fixed still get low frames and total freezes leading to blue screens in any sort combat in atc and double barracks areas at nwaf and any built up area. 7gb patch for a rabbit hunting rifle lololol.

It's a real shame but this is pretty much what I expected...

I do play DayZ since the release on consoles and the devs haven't fixed "any" major problem with the game since then. But ofc they have released a paid DLC while the game is and was still in such a bad state. Vaulting was a nice addition to the game and we all appreciate how community servers can be customized these days but as I said "no major problem" has been fixed. Cars are still deathtraps, desync/looting/inventory issues are still the same, server performance is still awfull and maybe even worse since release and the general performance is also a joke. I never agreed that dayz is simply a cash grab and BI is scaming their console customers but it's time to realsize that DayZ on console it nothing more than a cash grab!

We also have to keep in mind that Xbox players were even having experimental builds and servers but they still can't get it right. DayZ is a beta game at most, the devs are imho lazy and incompented. This title should have never be released on consoles in the first place...

On top we have those silly fanboys which are feeling sorry for the devs when they get critizised for their sloppy work. I can understand that some content creators (to some degree) don't open their mouth as they make decent money while playing, streaming and recording this game but the average players should open up their mouth and let this company know that their work is not ok!

You are correct. The config is the general settings. It seems that the coordinate between Bohemia and Nitrado didn't happen for the update.

Those are the respawn points used when you change servers. They are packed into another PBO file and are usually left out of this file (They weren't in the original EXP release), so its just a build error.

Utter joke, since the update the lag has been just plain stupid for a game in 2020! The desync issue is also a joke I had a guy die to zombies hitting him about 30m away then 5 minutes later I can't open gates or doors so I relog to log back in to zombies slapping the heck out of my unconscious body. RIP THAT SWEET LAR AHA

Base building seems more awkward. I'm finding in the same places I built before it will let me build the base but only let me build the bottom or top frame/wall in multiple places.

So things still get stuck in tents and barrels, cars are useless died straight away when it decided to take off to mars, also started building a base in a warehouse and you can actually just walk throw the windows so that’s pointless

So by running the numbers and some tests I've concluded the following:

A Single unarmed man can Punch through a Metal Wall/Gate in approximately; 1hr 20mins.
3 Unarmed Men can Punch through a Metal Wall/Gate in; 27mins.

Whilst this seems rather improbable at first thought, this will quickly become the new meta rather than finding tools or explosives effectively making base building rather unrewarding.
It can take hours to build just a single wall depending on finding the right tools and supplies to have it destroyed by someone that is literally unarmed in only an hour is rather upsetting.
Alternatively three unarmed guys steam roll your gate in only half hour like termites as you were away from base or logged out for that mere half hour.
EDIT: Worst case scenario; a simple AFK Macro or Auto-Clicker to take away your hard work effortlessly.

Two ideas to balance:
1: Punching has a small chance to cause bleed, so consistent punching like this is difficult
2: Remove punching as a means of damaging bases.

 

I wasn't sure if this belonged in the feedback track as this isn't a bug just a potential oversight.
I also apologise for posting this both here and in the PC Update Thread just hoping for this to be corrected before it becomes the games new meta.
