You are correct. The config is the general settings. It seems that the coordinate between Bohemia and Nitrado didn't happen for the update.

We don't have the disable/enable feature for the base and container damage. This is needed badly for console private servers.

Does anyone see they just added a lot more ways to grief a base? For console community servers this will be a very easy way to grief peoples bases, and a lot more options to popcorn peoples loot. :(

so nothing about increased crafting options? Dying, spray painting...etc? The ability to craft clothes, and makeshift items? More vehicles? Bow and arrow? Why are they reducing the dev team when this game needs so much work, and it has so much potential! Take a risk on DayZ, BI...if you invested some more in to this game you could make it really amazing, and make even more money on it.

Can someone explain what this part means to a console scrub: "We will release our animation rig in fbx format and p3d samples of male and female character body parts."

BI should've deleted the post and made a twitter post saying it was a mistake. However, people need to be smarter and only trust official BI sources for update information. I always double check stuff like this and don't trust word of mouth...if more people did this there wouldn't be an issue.

Do you play on a PS4 Pro? It seems to be mostly happening to people on the older systems, and it happens at random. You can be alone, fighting zombies, driving, building, sitting still etc etc. I play on a private server only, and this happens to all of us not on the Pro.

It took 20 days for you guys to acknowledge a game breaking issue? Some people have crashes multiple times an hour. People are losing gear that took hours to scavenge for. The patch has been out for almost three weeks. A lot of dedicated players have quit the game. No response to any of the tickets submitted, posts on the forums/discord, regarding the issue. This issue killed my stream for the past couple weeks after I had worked very hard to build a viewership. If the patch had been tested for more than a couple hours before release this issue would've been easily found. This is very disappointing and is no way to run a business. I hope someone with BI reads these posts and tries to change the culture there.

The game is broken right now on PS4. The blue screens every 15 minutes or so are killing the game...sometimes they happen back to back within minutes. Please make this a priority to fix BI...and fast. @ImpulZ I hope you guys are also aware that we had to wipe our private server for the new guns and car to spawn. I'm hoping that a full server wipe isn't going to be a thing every update.

Yea exactly. Why waste time wiping now when they are going to do it with the update. Would just slow the team down from getting the update certified. I like how everyone moans when they have no idea how the certification process works. Be patient or go play something else in the meantime. I will say BI could be a bit more clear with their twitter posts and updates. Posting "the cert failed because of Sony" and then no clarification on why the Xbox release would be delayed as well just pissed people off and caused a shit storm. Yeah, I mean big deal...you have to wait a couple weeks more...get over it...but if you're going to communicate, think it through and do it right. At the end of the day BI is doing their best to get this update through and improve the game. They are new to the console stuff and it will take time. The funny thing is, the reason we need this update so bad is that the players are toxic af and will cheat and dupe and server hop and ghost their way through the game. Ironic that the same players who are causing this toxic meta and are cheating are the ones whining about the update to patch those exact exploits. Yea sure its the devs fault for allowing those exploits in the game, but there has to be a scummy player at the controller to abuse them.

I run an SSD with my PS4 so my performance is probably a bit above the average. I'd highly recommend investing in one if you have a chance. The only advantage I see to playing on Xbox is that on PS4 your gamertag lights up when you are talking in gamechat. This means that anyone within range, even if they are in party chat, will know you are there. This kills the immersion a bit, and I've definitely been killed and killed others that I'm not have if this wasn't a thing.

People are actually getting refunds...for what exactly? I find this highly unlikely.

Does anyone know how the zombie respawn works? If you kill all the zombies in a town, will more respawn? My friend and I were holed up in the police station at Kamy, in a firefight with another team. We killed all the zombies that rushed our gunshots (about 15), but then it seemed like a whole new group spawned a minute after that.

Winchester is amazing, and any assault rifle...which is impossible to find right now. I currently have an SVD and LAR which I looted off dupers which is an amazing combo. I liked running an axe but the melee weapons don't make sense in this game...I feel like I down zoms faster with a combat knife than an axe...so no point in carrying one to weight you down.
