UniformHyperon_AUT 3 Posted February 20, 2019 Hey guys and friends of dayz, me and my 5 mates trying to build a base and our problem for a week now is that we haven't found any nails in a 10km radius from our basepoint. not even in sawmills or construction sites. anyone having the same problem with no nails on the map? Man Parts 241 686 Posted February 20, 2019 I found two boxes in a month. I had to resort to using other unsavory "methods" for base building. I know base building should take a while, but it shouldn't take six irl months to build a one story watchtower... if that. And just imagine not having friends to help looking for mats. I always pick them up because lots of people seem to have trouble finding them so I figured they might make good currency. I usually have to drop them again before I meet anyone though. amadieus 315 Posted February 20, 2019 Yeah they are too rare! Same goes for barbed wire and metal wire. In industrial areas it is always full with clothing instead of real industrial items. I put already 30 ish hours in my base and still don't got it completed due to a lack of nails. Instead, my base got partly destroyed without any effort by other players.
