xEuph 22 Posted October 19, 2018 Could’ve seen this coming.. The current meta of DayZ on Xbox is as follows. Spawn, then server hop the nearest tent until geared. Run back to nearest coastal city and death match on high pops until death. Rinse. Repeat. It’s the call of duty culture of console that lacks the patience to spend hours playing the game as it was intended. Kids just want death match’s, not interaction and immersion.
Skofield_Kid 41 Posted October 19, 2018 I don't think it is an issue of console players lacking patience due to games like COD. I think its just a matter of there not being anything to do in the game except death match until more content and stability updates roll out. Right now I'm content with just freely exploring/ hiking and attempting to hunt critters as I'm still getting familiar with the game map. After a while though I might find myself down on the coast death matching too. Though I'll more likely just put the game aside until more content rolls out. Might see the player base rebound a bit at that point.
bandito6000 175 Posted October 19, 2018 Xeuph is right. That's the culture on Xbox currently, but it all starts with you.

No server hopping, sticking to my main server, gearing up as I move towards Gorka's pub for some goat steak and Rasputin Voss. Once I'm geared, and I have everything I want and might need, I'm done playing. Gonna wait for day night cycles and disease. Surviving atm is on easy noob mode. Hence why most are on that kos shit. Any thoughts on setting up a secondary shop at Dolina (SE of Gorka)? There’re two bars, a couple of water sources, and a grocery store. I think I’ll head to that area later tonight to check out potential base locations. Are you still waiting for new content before continuing your store?
