When will DayZ see Snow!?

and in case namalsk gets into vanilla, you will have snow there

They showed an autumn shader or mask in a recent status report so I would guess that system could do snow dusted trees.

I recall something form quite awhile ago about no dynamic snow though, i think?

I wouldn't expect to see any big environmental changes or variation until we get the upcoming graphic overhaul, player controller, and beta either way.

I love the idea of seasons in Dayz! 

I think this would be nice for Dayz DLC, or a Dayz Mod.

I would imagine Snow to be just another weather modifier - Perhaps just a heavily increased effect on Rain, colder temperatures, and a slow motion white fleck visual appearance. 

In mass it could form a White-Out effect on the distance.

I really hope snow gets into the game, mods are great and all but many just don't measure up quality-wise. To have winter weather in the core experience would be mind blowing, We have winter hunting jackets so one can dream

There are snow efects in Arma 3, I saw snow flakes falling on Isla Duala map. But they dont stay on ground. There were hills covered in snow. There is also Winter Chernarus map but I dont like it.
