Really cool to see some more render footage and the information is very welcome. I wonder what kind of dynamic lights they are adding, since they mentioned that. I wonder if they are part of the environment or just something we can place as a player. Even though parity was the goal, I think this footage looks a lot better than anything Dayz was previously capable of. And we'll probably see more particle effects and a visual representation of wind and such (in the way the fog/rain blows). Maybe ;) What I see, I like, so bring it on and let us play :)   

The longer it takes though, the more time I have to build "Camp Chaos" on 0.59 stable. And that's still fun, too.

I am excited about this, but thinking about it, I am more excited about the player controller which will radically improve gameplay.

I came close to starting this thread last night myself....

They already answered that in a tweet from a couple days ago: Nope, not this week, but they are working hard on it and we are close. So small chance for EXP end of next week, more likely end of month.

I wonder if the dynamic lighting means they will finally be able to implement the generators and the flood lights which you'll be able too run off them. I agree with the visuals looking magnificient.I can't wait for .60 and all its glory.

Just rewatching the video for the 9001th time. About the loot region tool: Gamechanger. Possibilities:

-have a rare gun spawn in the remote altar in turovo

-have a garage spawn lots of tires

-make novo or other parts of the map interesting to visit again

Dayz is definitely taking an interesting direction, slowly but surely.
