Hard shakes

Recommended Posts

Just realised last night I have a BAD case of the shakes .

Um.. never really had it this bad before .

I assumed I was cold , since I had been wet , but didnt get the cold status .

I have since made up to 3 large log fires in a triangle formation , and sat in the center of the 3 until the wood burned out .

Got dried. but never hot .

Have relogged a few times .
To further add to the possibilities , My friend is currently fighting off either Food poisoning , or sickness from drinking pond water. Are either of those contagious ?

I'm not getting a Sick status , or seem to be losing health , Typically stay in the green for hydration and Energy . And right now showing Healthy

Just cant seem to get rid of the shakes .

Havent ate human flesh either .

Currently I have on TTSKO pants, Green jungle boots, Green M65 , and full ghillie suit.

Any suggestions ?

Sickness from drinking pond water or food poisoning isn't contagious.

Have you tried sprinting for a little bit to see if it helps with the shaking?

Here is how to fix any kind of "cold" the fastest way:

Wear a quilted jacket (the only thing warmer is a ghillie) and run around for about 20 minutes (I guess with ghillie it will be 10-15).

Heals even Parkinson.

Sometime you will have a broken arm but status don't show it. Craft yourselfa splint (rag+stick) and apply it. Let me know if that fix it.

Yes. This is it. I recently committed suicide via friend with a wrench because I totally forgot about the broken arm thing and thought my character was irreparably bugged with the Cold status. It had been 3 or 4 months since I had had a broken arm and I killed off a character for no reason that had lived for quite some time, killed tons of infected, and even got into a pretty epic gunfight and killed 3 guys in self defense. I was sad to see him go.

There is a distinctive difference between sway and shaking, so that has nothing to do with it.

Ghost fractions cannot cause shaking, they just cause excessive sway.

And shaking is never uncureable - the above mentioned method always works. Wear ghillie or quilted jacket and run around for 20 minutes.

After drying off again by use of indoor fire place, using splint , and morphine.

Running for a few miles in ghillie suit seems to have resolved it

thanks everyone for the suggestions

yeah, the temperature indicators are sometimes bugged out, campfires don't typically fix it, only very warm clothing

i had a case where i had the shakes (note: not sway) and a splint fixed it though, but that was a couple patches in the past...

If you get sick from drinking pond water or eating raw food like worms or something, you need TETRACYCLINE ANTIBIOTICS. Take 1 tablet every 15 minutes thereabouts for as long as you have tablets (10 should do the trick). Keep drinking and eating. It will cure you but takes a while.
