Hello all, Mr. Chubby Numnums here, or Chubbs for short. Been gaming for just over 27 years now. I have just over 25 hours into Dayz, and I very much like it despite the frustrations I've had. First player I encountered tried to kill me with a fire extinguisher for my backpack, second shot me while I crossed a field, and third ran off begging not to die after I called friendly over and over. I just started playing the standalone today. I'm somewhere near Berezino. I found a pristine SKS but haven't found any ammo for it yet. I did find some magnum ammo, some buck shot and some 7.62 for the Mosin. It took a few deaths to figure out how to deal with the zombies but I'm getting the hang of it. I haven't seen any survivors as of yet. I'd like to meet up with some people, there is safety in numbers.

I got the standalone few days ago and I've been enjoying it quite much. Played the MOD also several hours. Im mostly playing alone, but when ever I find someone to run around with, I notice it's a lot funnier. Some players just get tired of waiting me when I take a cig break. So if you're patient player and would like to play with me, add me on Steam: battery577.

 

I also made this little "clan", called Electricity Gaming. The name for it came from my actual job, electrician. :) I've set up a forum for it, which can be found at www.electricitygaming.net. If you'd like to join, go and make an application. It's not meant to be that serious, just a friendly group of players and a forum where they can talk.

Been playing for a few weeks now. I got geared up really well a few times, but got mowed down in some dumb encounters. I just got shot by a 12 year old kid who pretended to be 'friendly'. Looking for some decent people to play with that won't shoot me in the back. Really, I don't see any way of having decent game play beyond "survival" if you can't trust (to some extent) some other players. Very fun game, and realistic. Just wish people wouldn't be such @ssholes on the game.

Age 30+ ;)  Been playing DayZ for about a week now and LOVE IT. I came over from ISS (warZ) which you should NOT play btw. If you think this game has cheaters, play ISS for a bit.

 

Im Dutch and can speak fluently english (writing is a different story:) ) and a bit german, so if you ever feel like hooking up ingame add me on steam.

Use to play the mod...just installed SA last night. Had my first little run awhile ago...After three deaths, i ran into a teleporting hacker with a rifle...his aim sucked. He used a lot of rounds to kill me.

 

So far so good. Glad I waited for more to be added before diving back into it.

Hello guys , lads and gets . My name is [RANGER]Lethal , you may know me from the DyZ-np.info servers ... I cleaned these servers from the [sHS]Clan . Together with my friend . Today I had a real bad day with [PB]PakistanBandits ... We showed friendlyness and we got chopped down ... I tend to say that I understand that KOS is a golden rule on this game . But ffs ( srry if this lang is abusive in any way ) can't anyone be a hero ? Rather than just some guys , probably not more than 10 on the whole servers . So anyways , we showed mercy to [PB]PotatoKing and [PB]PotatoChris and we got chopped off . I also need to say that I won't hesitate being a trigger happy "in the club" next time I see them . And again , I wouldn't like to make this long because the KOS shit will never end and bla bla bla . Just wanted to make myself and my friend known over here . In-case you are friendly , or a hero ... Hey there.

'Name's Vermillion, else Varn Ingrahm. It varies... But today, i'm Cpt. Pissed Off.

 

Installing DayZ SA now, tried to play the mod with the complete Arma 2 bundle but that doesn't work and all the troubleshooting and help threads related to the problem are basically answered with "meh. deal with it." or "buy the game again".

To top it all off, the Age Verification on the main page screwed up and now refuses me access to the site and can't be changed (Some bad website engineering there). My day is going great, ain't it?
