As far as I know of it's still enabled on experimental.

 

Well, I don't know about that. Last time I left snare traps and a tent as well as a child briefcase, the server restarted and it was a goner...

Just saw southcentral 4 was up but got "wait for host" and no people on it anyway. Of course I had to try and go for it anyway, despite knowing it wouldn't work. ^^

As far as I know of it's still enabled on experimental.

Yup, and I don't think it will be turned off on Experimental either. Seems like they want to keep working to improve it on that branch by letting us continue to mess around with it. Keep in mind that persistence doesn't save *everything* yet, and included in the list of things it doesn't save are garden plots and rabbit snares. It's also still buggy and random things can happen too, of course.

Yeah the DayZ SWE 0-1 one. Also noticed a 54.126646 with the name "DayZ AU 2-4 (Public/3PP: ON) 124971...", kinda funny.

Why would they disable persistence on the next stable patch suddenly? That is illogical to me, please explain and state your source. And by source I don't mean "Player X said that...", I want a proper source from the developers.

What about this sentence?

 

...the stable branch update will have the spawning of infected, and the persistence disabled on stable branch servers. This is only a temporary measure while these two issues continue to be worked on...

Looks like an update coming pretty quick.  These guys really want to get a working version of this out to stable this week.  Good job fella's!

I am looking forward to it.  It means helicrashes will actually move around the map instead of hanging in one place.

Though, I would rather have them fixed atleast the persistence than pushing it already to stable.

Guess next patch will be a PvP patch for me then. Bit dissapointed because I already was planning on making a nice camp, etc.

I filed a bug report about garden plots being wiped, when plants are actively growing. I received a response that they recognize that this is an issue and it will eventually be addressed.

I'll just try to hone my hiding skills. Survive without being seen, but hopefully being able to watch people. I just love it when possible :)

Well nothings stopping me from playing for an hour, i dont curr if the hive isnt even connected im gonna enjoy dayz at its crudest form right now just to spite the dayz gods.

Was playing fine until I forgot to put my SKS hand carry down before climbing deerstand.

 

Logged off to try to bring it back from the abyss and no when I try to log in it shows me the beginning of a spawn clock which immediately closes back to the server menu saying, "session lost".

 

I'm rebooting my whole system.

 

Maybe I'll squeeze some more in before I need to take care of some real world stuff.

In this most recent update, they've removed the new 3PP camera system.  And I haven't found any zeds either.

 

I'm also experiencing a strange inventory bug that I'm not sure has been present before.  Sometimes when I double click items to grab them, they disappear completely but if I drag them into an inventory slot, it's fine.

Well just played until server restart (a crash more like it seemed though) and i have to say i love accelerated time, i hope it becomes the norm on stable, if it does i might just play the soon to be dreaded .57 stable... Gonna hop on for another 20 mins hopefully before work.

Oh lord this game. I'm at Mogrilevka and I hear footsteps. Went to check it out and he was hiding in the bush, as of I didn't hear or see him lol. He runs away making some weird noises (guess bandits always do this). I though I noticed some more footsteps to the left so checked for one second and suddenly the dude is punching me. 2 punches and I see I'm Unconcious but just when the screen hit black I shot. I woke up and he was dead (so I thought). Went to bandage myself quick and get back to check his loot. I ran away and thought, wait maybe he isn't dead. Came back and he stood up, aimed down shot... BAM memory crash. Ooooh lord... not sure if I'm dead or he is.

 

Edit: Still alive, think I'm at a different server now because I didn't saw him.

So far no crashes, no Zeds, fair amount of loot, and I also believe that time is accelerated. Started out in what would be late afternoon, five minutes later it was night LOL. Seemed to run somewhat smooth but experienced bad rubberbanding / lag about 15 minutes into it.

 

I'll go and have some lunch now, let's see what it does once I'm going back in.
