I've had some antibiotics and now I'm ORANGE tired. I'm getting messages like 'I feel extremely tired'.

I don't know if that's still correct, but before .55 there were 3 or 4 stages of sickness.

If you were still in the first stage and took antibiotics you would jump right to the last stage. Without you would have to go through all stages which is very tough.

Interesting, this is one of the few reports concerning the recent sickness and health game elements.

According to Bone's hint, I'd say you have some form of dysentary of water-born disease. I'd say your only hope is to give it time... if that doesn't work, you're shit out of luck- and in your pants.

If it is considered speculation it should be tested not considered false , that would decide if its false. Not a great source but that is exactly what the dayz wiki says those vials are for ( i dont know i have never had to or tested one) but seeing its seems semi legit ill trust it more than someone who says there a medic but hasnt tested something and calls it false....

Anything untested is false. Partial or misinformation if false. Until proven otherwise, I will consider any information I am presented as false. For all I know, those vials kill a man upon injection. Maybe there's different substances in each one? I'm not sure. And last time I checked the wiki, it wasn't fully implemented yet.

I'm sure my last character broke something because I heard the "crunch", I was debating with myself whether to use a splint or not because there were no I feel a pain in my...messages.

I got jumped by a Z and knocked unconscious.

I regret not applying the splint !

 

Maybe we can catch diseases  :o from the infected, not that I've seen any information on that being implemented.

the brain flu seems likely... but I'm more willing to bet that's a result of cannibalism.

LOL thank heavens humanity as a whole doesnt share this misguided sense or we would all be thinking the world is flat. Something is classed yes as speculation as theory until tested , then when its shown to be wrong its classed as false info. Again who knows if the wiki is telling the truth about what those vials contain i dont you dont and wont because you wont even test it..

And/or you're in the recovery phase, congrats. As far as I recall there are three phases to the sick cycle the 2nd one being the worst, now you're recovering the dehydration should be less.

There's a few really good explanations on youtube of the health disease system. Not sure if they're completely up to date but explain how it works. If you're at full healthy, energized, hydrated it still takes quite awhile and lots of water and food to get through the infection you'd get from stitching yourself with a sewing kit.

I played with Cholera for hours yesterday and haven't had any medical supplies cure it(chartabs, anitbiotics, vitamins, painkillers). It also doesn't seem like you can just ride through it as I play for hours and never lost it. I've probably thrown up 50+ times by now because you lose hydration faster than getting stuffed. I plan on making a trip to the coast and dumping my gear and suiciding. Never would of had the damn disease either if I didn't get bugged and log in dying of starvation and dehydration, that one sip of pond water was my downfall!

I see a lot of people drinking back hydration status... Recommend you try iv saline if you have a friend to administer it. Not sure if you can self administer it in game.

Worried about pond water now if that's actually implemented since we just drank some.

Seems getting sick from drinking from ponds is more common now than before. The little pond next to the road going north out of Cherno makes you sick, every time. First time I didn't know why I was sick. I kept vommiting, and the sick status would bounce between nothing and red. Never found charcoal tabs. My thirst would also go down quickly, and I was quite a burden on my 5 squadmates. I was running around with that sickness for something like 8 hours, chucking down drinks faster  than an irishman. Actually felt like a huge relief once I finally caught that Mosin bullet.

 

.... Then about 5 minutes later one of my guys finds charcoal tabs, while i've respawned across the map.
