I found a tent and i never had one before. i know the tents get wiped on wendsdays unless you have them on you. my question is what time on tuesday do i need to have my tent packed up so it dosnt get wiped? i live in the US on the east coast if that helps with time. 2. i was looking up buttstocks on dayz wiki and on the folding buttstock one it said its the worst buttstock in game. i dont understand why because none of the other wikis for the buttstocks said anything about how good they are. (AFAIK) But logically, when they improve the dynamics, the folding stock would be more inaccurate and would have more recoil, would do a lot of shakes. But it would be "foldable" you know. I've lost two hunting backpacks this week, containing MP5 with all the fixins, a couple ammo cases, couple protector cases with pristine optics, FNX surpressed, hand grenades, extra HI-cap vests. Both times I was moving bags to a new stash when the server reset, the bag I was wearing was gone when I came back, also not in the tree I just chopped down to get access. @OPThe important thing to remember is not to get attached to your gear. Or as I do, just find and stash multiples of all the things you really want to hang onto. The freedom of knowing where there are more of your favorites makes the game a much more relaxed experience. I'll usually run out with no pack, and a ruined assault vest+ruined gorka, that way I can find better stuff and bring it back, and anything lost is of little value. I gave up on tents a few weeks back because they are super obvious, and since they don't stay for more than a week, it is a lot less work to just find a good clump of trees to hide your stuff. As long as everything is in a bag, it should survive the week. edit: Also, 9PM eastern is the weekly maintenance time. Daylight savings time had me confused last week. I believe I read in one post the they did and in another they didn't wipe persistence this week. I read allot of message boards so it all runs together. Do different stocks give you a different accuracy rating or are they just cosmetic as long as you have one.Buttstocks (and other weapon attachments) affect the accuracy of your weapon - and nothing else (unless you got a CQB stock that also increases Dexterity). Also if your stock is fixed you are out of luck: it will do nothing at all (thats why the AKM is more accurate than the SKS). Doesn't make sense but that's how the game currently works (sway is a relatively new thing). As the model is still WIP we might see attachments dhaving authentic effects at some point but right now you cannot even fold the folding stock.
