Bug Feedback is VERY important

This was closed due to inactivity but we all know its still happening.

 

This happens to a lot of us.  I see it posted daily on the forums and reddit.

 

How many of you have actually send some feedback to the bug tracker?

 

If you just whine on the forums, nothing will be done and bugs will be ignored as the devs don't think its a big issue.

 

Please complete the form, thats why you are playing the alpha.

Just don't overhelm it with duplicate reports.There's a very high chance that the bug has already been reported. If you think devs haven't noticed the ticket then you should try to comment and maybe give more information.

There are other tickets that would seem to be the same thing. I even have one logged that still exists on what I think is the same issue. If you logged back into that original server you'd likely get your gear back.

There are probably other tickets on the same issue, but the devs usually merge them.  This one was closed because they think the issue is resolved.

 

I know the tricks to get your character back and to prevent it being lost in the first place, I was just bringing this to everyones attention to make sure you are all reporting this issue , and other issues if it they do happen

Took 5 different servers to get my character back.

 

(During this period, I was going to try my hardcore character, but then thought if you swap between them, does your alternate character get saved in it's current state, i.e. as a new spawn with no chance of finding your lost geared character ever again?)

 

I was under the impression this was a known issue and being worked on.  

Will go and see if there's an active ticket about this...

If you know steps how to prevent it from happening, it might be worth trying to find out the opposite, which is how exactly it happens. Such is the information the devs need to fix the problem.
