I did not encounter one yet but from reading I would think it sucks at self defense: intermediate cartridge, low magazine capacity, bolt action. Its probably better for hunting or long range sniping than winning firefights.

I've dumped a shotgun and 12 shells before and replaced it with an empty SKS.

Shotgun is mostly fixed.  It has a new bug with reloading, however it shoots a full spread again.

Killed a guy who had a CZ with my shotgun today, but that doesn't mean much.  Did kill multiple well armed players today with my shotgun too though, so it's definitely back to at least where it used to be.

 

I like the CZ sights and reload animation, but haven't used it for pvp yet.

I had a cz but couldn't find any clips for it. Then I read that the clip only holds 5 rounds. It takes the same rounds as the sks so there's really no reason to keep it if you can find an sks which holds 10 and can mount scopes.

Its got a powerful round and it is more maneuverable than any other weapons of its caliber. I carry it with one of my characters just because I want to try it out, running different loadouts is part of what keeps the game fresh.

 

Just pick it up and try it out instead of asking the forums.

The Cz 527 should be a very accurate 2 minute of angle gun at 100yards, it should have the fastest response time and lowest dexterity penalty of any rifle in its caliber. So yea it should be really useful against players.

 

The cz will be a scalpel whereas the sks and the akm will be sledge hammers one deals death with precision and finesse the others with brute force and firepower.

Anyone know where mags for it are spawning ( i am guessing mil bases as always lol) picked one up tested that you can paint it ( only tested 1 colour havent found any green to see if it will do camo like mosin or just single colour like sks).

 

But yet to be able to fire the gun as it wont chamber a round and cant yet find mag for it..

Found a mag in a civilian police station. Those are pretty small like batteries, better double check loot locations.

I had to shoot a guy with it five times from one end of the hallway to the other in the TEC building. They were all chest shots. It's like a shitty Mosin. Slapping it on the list with the IZH-43, Sporter 22, and MP5-K of guns not to bother picking up.
